I loved the view. It was our favourite part of the stay. Also loved the swimming pools although wished it could have been open till maybe a bit later like 10pm.
Nothing really I just wish it could be a bit more cleaner and the floors while walking made so much noise.

The grounds were extremely well landscaped with the picturesque castle and gardens creating an amazing atmosphere.
The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. As a self contained lodge it had a fully equipped kitchen and cooking appliances.
Relatively close to fantastic Porthminster Beach. Ocean views from the room.
We used the swimming pools and kids playground.
No washing machine.
The parking for our lodge was difficult: entry through a separate gate from the main castle entry and down a loose gravel road. Our vehicle (hire van) had some trouble with traction getting back up hill.
