HI HOSTEL CHARLEROI Brussels South Airport

Very clean, comfortable beds, friendly check in. Good shower pressure. Breakfast included which we weren't expecting but was delicious. Location very handy, 2 min walk from the bus/train station and lots of restaurants bars and shops within a few minutes walk as well.

Amazing value for money! Breakfast: Buffet style breakfast included <3 Loved it Staff: So nice and hepful. They even merged our two reservartions, bc a third person joined us for the last night, and made it so much easier for us! Also, the first night there was a storm and a flood inside the building, so instead of cancelling breakfast completely, they provided juice, sweets and fruits in the reception to make up for the inconvenience. <3 They also directed us to file a complaint so that their insurance would refund our first night - so nice! Room: clean, customizable. We were two people in a 4-people bedroom with two double-deck beds. We were allowed to move the lower deck beds to make a king-sized bed for me and my partner (the beds had little wheels with locking systems), and our friend slept on one of the upper beds for the last night. In-room additional sink made our morning and evening routines so much easier~ Location is perfect for transportation - right next to Charleroi Central Train Station A 24/7 Thai supermarket 10 min away from the Central Station saved our dinner one night ^^ Reception facilities: water station, microwave, refrigerator, early coffee break upon request for when you need to check-out REALLY early In-hotel bar; youth events - for example, they have a weekly chess tournament every wednesday, which is so cute!

No complaints in general The elevators stopped working the first night bc of the flood, which was a little inconvenient, but we were on floor 3, so it was not that much of a hassle Not the property's fault, but MUST KNOW: Idk if it was the neighborhood or Charleroi in general, but it was sketchy - I saw drug dealing with my own eyes. Don't recommend hanging around alone at dark.

The hostel is very close to the central station, staff very helpful and friendly. Recommend 👌🏼

Breakfast was very basic, The hostel was clean Location central but no parking space.

Bathroom was too small with a single shower and faucet available for a room of 6 people.
