Positive: the host is superb, kind and helpful, our communication was smooth. There was a kettle, tea and coffee in the room. The WC (not in the room, but privative) was clean.

Negative: 1. airport taxi for this location is 60 euros back and forth. 2. My room was smelly and I had an impression that bed linens weren’t clean, but maybe I am wrong. Difficult to sleep because of this bad smell. 3. No shops at walking distance nearby

Efficient with a personal touch

Self check-in. Very good communication with hostess Karine. 10 min drive from Charleroi airport. Clean, convenient, mini fridge and microwave in room. Good value for money

Handy to the airport Hot shower

Bed - had a plastic cover on mattress and only a sheet covering it. Sheet slipped on mattress so it didn’t cover it well and mattress was exposed. It was cold and sweaty. Every time one of us moved, it made a noise moving on plastic and bed was ok for one person only as it moved a lot, so two people wake each other with movement and noise of plastic cover on the bed.

Very good

The rooms at the back of the property were so much better as everything was in one place to maximise comfort. The garden area was also very peaceful. I upgraded to one of these rooms. I thought the staff, "karine and the young lady that came out to me" did great in getting me the upgrade considering that there were no staff at the property as it is all self check in which was also impressive.

I didnt like the fact that the bathroom and toilet in my original room was outside the room but, thats my personal preference and wouldnt affect everybody. That is the main reason I wanted to upgrade when I first arrived. After that, everything was good. I just thought, "and this applies to a lot of hotels", that it would be nice to point this out more clearly about the bathroom and toilet being outside the room as this would have made my decision making different when initially booking the room and would have saved us the time and stress of having to go through the motions once I arrived.

Very original and cosy room

Very cosy room, very friendly staff. The friendliness of the hostess solved all misunderstandings into very pleasant stay. The hostess speaks French and English. It made our conversations easy.

The shower is not in the room but it didn't make any problem.

Good value budget accommodation

Unusual accommodation in a good way. We stayed just for one night as we had a flight next day from Charleroi airport. Our room had high ceilings which gave a great sense of space. Room was clean, nicely decorated with 2 lounge chairs & small dinning table. Toilet & washbasin was in the room with a small partition. Our shower room was separate down the hallway.. There was ample free on street parking. Overall it was great value and would and would recommend.

For a budget stay it was perfect.

Cheap but very basic, uncomfortable night

Cheap stay for one night. Great communications (in English) from the owner.

Hard to find in the dark and use door code. Terrible single bed (broken base) - very uncomfortable. Tiny wash basin with slow water flow for a wash, no towel provided. Very small toilet through the shared kitchen area. Noisy with other guests talking and banging doors late at night/early morning

Upon arrival my colleague had to wait more than 1h before the owner would come to the residence. The owner then refused my colleague to stay, without any reason. We had to book another hotel for the evening.

In regard to the accommodation itself, I have booked a room with private bathroom, I have found out that the bathroom is not in the room but in the other side of the house!!!!!....but if you book a room in this establishment to save money....NO.....you will pay too much for taxi from airport to the accommodation and back and taxi the only option...it is better and more convenient and cheaper to book a hotel within a walke distance from the airport if you have a flight. ...

A truly lovely place, I won't hesitate to rebook next time I am flying in or out Charleroi.

Fantastic place, really was lovely and I would recommend it to anyone on a budget wanting a cheap comfortable stay. We had a house and it was much better than being cramped up in a hotel room somewhere else.

Couldn't really find anything to complain about, it's clean and well furnished, a real effort has been made to make it homely and it shows.

I liked that I could sit outside my room.

The furniture was just very very cheap. In particular the bed was poor, with a very cheap matrass that could not be covered well with the sheet. Also room was not cleaned once during my stay of a week.
