The hotel is situated in a residential area a 10 minute free shuttle mini van ride from the hotel. Simply call the hotel and follow the signs and orange colored path to P2. The hotel is very basic. In truth they are just small rooms with an on-suite bathroom. There are no facilities at the hotel and the reception is not 24 hours. The hotel offers two small bottles of water in the mini fridge which, is otherwise empty. On the second floor there is a tea coffee making machine as well as cartons of fruit juice and boxes of mini donuts. These you consume on an honesty basis and pay before you leave the hotel. Otherwise badically Just the room. It is clean enough albeit the wall paper is peeling off the walls. It is ok for an overnight stay by the airport and certainly cheap enough. The old idiom applies, you get what you pay for. Our flight time on RyanAir was changed and so did not arrive at the airport until 11.30 so rather than face a bus into the City we decided to book this hotel instead. So really basic accommodation.

I needed an Hotel in close vicinity to the Airport, this proved Ideal. The staff were extremely helpful. The hotel has a modern feel, and the early morning shuttle service was a factor when selecting this hotel. I would definitely recommend for business travel use.

I stayed at this hotel because I had an early morning flight, and it was the perfect choice. Many hotels near Brussels South Charleroi claim to have a free shuttle, but it often turns out to be a paid taxi. This one truly offers a free shuttle bus, which was a huge plus! We received clear instructions, the van was clearly marked, and the driver who picked us up was very friendly. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The 4:40 a.m. shuttle driver was also very nice and helpful. Overall, this hotel is a great option if you have an early flight from Charleroi. I would definitely stay here again!

Staff were fabulous but location was far from airport with absolutely NOWHERE to eat or drink within walking distance. Room was very small and noisy, had no tea/coffee. Empty percolator on landing but no water. Worse was dreadful direction to courtesy bus. P2 is NOT PROPERLY SIGNPOSTED despite (otherwise splendid) directions making pickup stressful and time-consuming.

Staff are not very polite. You have nothing other than a bed and a lamp in the rooms. We got some donuts and coffee that were stale and coffee was horrible. Staff also has very limited English. The morning staff didn’t speak any English. VERY hard to communicate. I wouldn’t return.

The hotel provided an airport transfer that was very convenient for us as we have an early flight. Room was spacious, comfortable bed and they have A/C (you just have to ask the front desk).

Stayed at Hotel South after a late flight into Charleroi and an early bus out. The airport shuttle was excellent, the hotel was clean and comfortable and I have no complaints whatsoever. Just as an FYI - if you arrive late (we landed at 10pm), there is absolutely nothing open anywhere for food!

Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location but not within walking distance to the Charleroi airport. Good hotel shuttle service provided by hotel. Upon arrival to the airport, I called them and they were very prompt at getting to the airport. The following morning they took me back to the airport and the ride is about five minutes. The hotel is small with no restaurant but free water is available in each room . My rooms decor was old and tired with need to be revitalized. Walls are thin so you can hear lots. Linens were clean and comfortable so I slept well. Closest restaurant is 700m distance.

In terms of hotel itself, perfect service and environment, also the airport shuttle is also very helpful. But the taxi in Charleroi maybe the worst I see, not metered, always overcharged, you must pay what they said, or no taxi to take. Here is no taxi app in service !!!
