About this house rental
Sunny, contemporary Katama salt box in fabulous location between Edgartown and South Beach! Fabulously bright, reverse style home with living accommodation upstairs and 3 bedrooms with master bath and second full bath downstairs.
Open and airy with cathedral ceilings and lots of windows. 3 large sliders open onto a huge sunny deck that runs the length of the house. 2 of the bedrooms have Queen beds and sliders out to the surrounding yard, most of it in grass. The 3rd bedroom has two twin beds. Enjoy the heated outdoor shower after a great day at the beach!
Fantastic location midway between town and beach, it is a stroll into Edgartown (0.9 miles) or a cycle to South Beach (1.5 miles) on the bike path.
The house is a short distance from the Katama airfield (0.4 miles) where you can go for a fantastic bi-plane ride over the island. Also, enjoy the lovely breakfast or lunch at the diner at the airstrip and watch the planes from the outdoor deck.

Great location, easy check-in/out. Beach chairs were a plus. House is very nice, spacious, and comfortable. Bedrooms had good closet space. Beds could have been a little more comfortable but not all that bad. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Martha.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is perfect, check in was easy and property was clean. Accommodations were comfortable and as advertised. Martha’s Vineyard is a special place for my family and enjoy visiting every year.

The owner was responsive to several items we flagged like broken sliding screen door, clogged sinks, etc. With some TLC I’d rate it better.
It’s a good location between Edgartown and South Beach. We enjoyed having the bike trail across the street.
The house is landscaped so there is privacy from the street. We were there after Labor Day so road traffic and noise was manageable. .
