This two-level home is situated on a quiet piece of property just half a mile from the center of Edgartown. It's also only half a mile from the Chappy Ferry to Chappaquiddick Island, one mile from Lighthouse and Fuller Street Beaches, three miles from Bend-in-the-Road Beach, and four miles from Katama Beach.
Walk inside to discover an elegant living space with hardwood floors, sun-lit window seats, and a gas-powered fireplace for cool island evenings. Return home from an afternoon on the beach to use the WiFi to check your email or curl up for a night of Netflix on the flatscreen cable TV.
Prepare fresh local seafood in the full kitchen and leave the dishwasher to handle the clean-up. You'll find seating for two at the breakfast bar, plenty of space around the eat-in kitchen table, as well as a gas grill and patio seating on the deck for al fresco lunches and dinners.

Perfect location. Walk to town, but back on a quiet street. Listing description is somewhat inaccurate. In real life, two of the bedrooms have kings, one has a full, and the loft has two twins. The AC leaked from the attic onto our bed one day and that was really not good. Mattress was soaked. Vacasa did not respond, did not give us any credit. They leave a lot of burned out lightbulbs too, which was annoying.
The decor is bright and cheery, lovely living room with plenty of seating plus window seats- a great space and bonus shelf full of interesting books to read plus a large TV. A few board games in the closet there as well. The deck and patio furniture plus the outdoor sand shower is great. Kitchen has everything you need (all appliances, toaster, coffee maker, utensils, plates, cook ware etc) but Vacasa never changed the fridge water filter so it barely
worked.
We made use of the bikes and beach chairs, which is a major bonus.
The owners clearly chose this home for the charm and location and they took care to decorate it beautifully and make it an inviting space. Vacasa drops the ball when it comes to managing.

There are two locks that can potentially be locked simultaneously and they were when we checked in. After trying for awhile we called the other side of the planet from where someone told us there is a key lox box nearby (10 ft) that had the house key in it. We were able to retrieve it and enter. Why were we not told about the key lockbox in the checkin instructions? There are also many little step up/downs throughout the house which is no problem I’m sure if you live there. But I did not know where these were and there are no handrails to tip you off so I tripped a few times. I would predict that someone will eventually be injured. There was also a lot of furniture scattered around, chairs stuck in bathrooms, a dinner table with all the chairs stacked in the hall. Disappointing business transaction but a pleasant enough weekend at an otherwise nice place.
