Villa Erizio Aparthotel - a bucolic and urban break

It's super comfortable. We were two friends so the design of the flat with an upper bedroom lower living room was very suitable. The sofa bed was also very comfortable. With the heat outside, we also really appreciated that there were two air conditioners. I would definitely stay here when I visit Bordeaux again.

Villa Erizio is situated in a quiet neighborhood about 15-20 mins easy walk from the cathedral. The apartment (Mandaline) was very clean and beautifully presented with tasteful decor. The king sized bed was very comfortable with good quality bed linen. I don't think the photos on the website do the apartment justice, as it was even nicer in real life! The air conditioning worked well. It wasn't too noisy, and the room was wonderfully cool after the high temperatures outside. There are no staff on site, but we had prompt responses from the host. The apartment is accessed via a code for the front door and the same code for the room. We were slightly concerned that all apartments had the same code, but this wasn't the case as we helped another couple who initially couldn't get in the front door. They showed us their code which was different to ours. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer on the ground floor, which was very handy. For the price, this was a really good value high quality apartment. It would have cost us a lot more if it was closer to the centre. However, a 15-20 min walk to and from a quiet neighborhood was absolutely fine to do. It was a very easy straightforward route to the centre. Would highly recommend this lovely apartment and we really enjoyed our stay.

The shower has 2 heads (overhead and hand held), which was a little tricky to get the top shower head to work. Had to hold the button in and v slowly release to get it to stay on. Needed a few attempts! It was a great shower though.

When we arrived there was an extremely offensive smell coming from the drains, via the toilet. Additionally there was Noise coming from outside the apartment which interrupted our sleep.
