Le Clos d'Emile - Centre ville

Incredibly comfortable, perfect location and warm service

My husband and I had marvelous stay at the recently renovated le Clos d’Emile Guest House Bed and Breakfast. Our room was spacious, luxurious and comfortable with a king sized bed, crisp, sparkling linens. The bathroom offered bath large and soft bath towels and luxury toiletries. Location could not have been better - close to the city center yet on a quiet street a few doors down from the Jardin Public. We instantly decompressed when we walked in the door to the relaxing decor and ambiance of this beautifully appointed accommodation. Our host Aïda was a highlight to our stay experience- warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home and offering wonderful recommendations on restaurants and things to do. Our custom breakfasts prepared by Tony and sometimes Aïda were delicious. We highly recommend le Clos d’Emile for an extraordinary stay experience in Bordeaux.

This was a dream stay at the lovely guesthouse "chateau" as I like to call it! Aida who was our hostess could not have been more helpful, professional and friendly! She made our stay feel as if we were at home in Bordeaux- our first visit there too! The location was perfect- quiet and beautiful street steps away from the jardín publique which was idyllic! There was a quick 5 minute walk to the very convenient and efficient tram that runs through the city! It was so easy to get day passes and go around the city with ease and comfort! We were fortunate enough to meet the owner of the property who made us feel so welcomed and wanted our stay to be perfect. The decor of this beautiful guesthouse is absolutely stunning! Every room looks so beautiful and perfectly situated and accessorized with antiques and art! The shower and facilitando air conditioning were top notch! We could not have asked for a better stay at this lovely and welcoming place! We will return!

Nothing- everything was great!

Boutique oasis in the beautiful city of Bordeaux. Very cool & quiet, yet walking distance to city centre, or very close to tram stops. Lovely room, tasteful decoration in room and lounge/breakfast areas. Spotlessly clean and last but not least run by very welcoming and helpful hostess. Hope to stay again 😊
