Hôtel Churchill Bordeaux Centre

Great location for this lovely hotel. Room was a good size and was bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful.

Great location, fairly center, easy to access most of the city center by foot. Lots of restaurants + 1 convenience store nearby. Old school key. The AC worked perfectly during the worst heat wave. Room was really spacious and was exceptionally clean, and my standards are quite high. Very quiet outside and inside. There was a gorgeous orchid. Carpeted floor was clean and fluffy, slippers were provided. Bathroom was really spacious and had Clarins products. Employees were all pleasant and helpful.

Beds were a bit too firm for my husband, I thought they were okay. The only source of natural light and air was the fully transparent glass door, you have curtains for privacy but it can feel a bit stuffy to not have a window. Found one long thick black hair that didn't belong to me in my towel, which was the only thing about cleanliness that put me off. It's a one way street that is tucked away, Uber and taxis can take some time to arrive, act accordingly. Please note for accessibility: there is no elevator, only a staircase to access the rooms, we didn't mind but it could be discouraging for others.

pleasant room, quiet, and made up well by room service Be aware there is an excellent and easy to use tram service in Bordeaux and you will need to use if for this hotel unless you take taxis.

bathroom corners (tired), didn't need sanitary products but the container was empty if you did... when i had to cancel a taxi because I was unsure it would get me to the station on time, the guy was huffy and miffed....I needed to catch a train and therefore could not take risks, so I chose to walk and got the train. The breakfast was mostly processed food and meagre offerings, although there were some very nice cakes
