Great spot to explore Normandy

If you like exploring Normandy, this is a perfect spot. The apartment is located in a small village, so having a car is essential. It is very spacious, clean, and well equipped—we had everything we needed for our four-day stay. The beds are very comfortable. The host met us on arrival, explained everything clearly, and was very kind and polite.

Lovely 5 day break in a beautiful area.

Nice little house with all the facilities we required, good outside space and close to the D Day beaches and museums. Easy parking right outside the property. Bed was comfortable. Shower was excellent. The outside space had a large table with an umbrella for shade and a clean BBQ which had coals provided. We enjoyed our stay.

It is on a well used road but traffic was never too heavy to be a nuisance. Bathroom being downstairs was not ideal, but we knew it was and it was an excellent bathroom.

A slick glide in and glide out experience. Very good.

Self catering. Off road parking on a relatively busy main road. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Astrid. In fact, we wanted to stay a little longer but the property was unavailable. Our whole experience was a pleasant one. The host who was very nice and friendly was there to meet and and greet us and to show us around.

It was a good stay, and we definitely recommend this place.

The host lives nearby, which made communication easy. She was enthusiastic to speak French despite my limited speaking ability, which sadly has become less and less common. She is kind, and made us (and the kids) feel at ease.

Heavy traffic (like tractors/lorries) can be clearly heard sometimes.

Absolutely amazing. The host was lovely, so welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect for visiting museums, beaches in a quiet area with easy access to main roads. Brilliant price, brilliant facilities. Just be careful coming down the stairs. The shower is great. We would highly recommend.

Un bel emplacement.

Pour un cours séjour, l'emplacement est parfait pour la découverte des plages du débarquement. Nous remercions une nouvelle fois l'hôtesse pour le prêt des serviettes oubliées ^^.

Il faut prévoir un budget pour le chauffage. Le logement est assez frais en plein hiver.

Photos conformes. Accueil très agréable d'Astrid (sourire, conseils, discussion) Très bien situé pour les visites des sites touristiques. Logement indépendant, très bien aménagé et équipé. Très propre, espace généreux. Acceptation de notre chienne sans souci et la proximité de chemins pour les promenades. Possibilité de pouvoir louer deux nuits seulement. Merci Astrid.

Route avec un petit peu de passage pouvant être un peu dérangeant si grande sensibilité au bruit la nuit. C'est notre cas...c'est ça d'habiter en pleine campagne et d'être habitués qu'aux moutons et ânes.

We hebben genoten van een mooie vakantie, veel gezien.

De ligging van het huisje was erg fijn, we waren binnen een half uur op veel toeristische plekken. Het huisje was comfortabel en de douche erg fijn.

Het huisje ligt aan een drukke weg, veel landbouw verkeer van 6 uur ‘s ochtends tot 23:00 uur in de avond. Dit was erg jammer. Als de tuin achter het huisje was geweest was het iets rustiger. Nu ligt de tuin meteen aan de drukke weg.

L’espace, l’équipement complet et la décoration , la simplicité d’accès. L’accueil chaleureux et en toute discrétion d’Astrid (merci pour le cidre excellent au frigo) Et finalement la localisation superbe pour les visites historiques (plages du débarquement et Bayeux) même si ce n’était pas du tout le but de mon séjour -donc heureuse surprise pour moi !-

La proximité de la route et l’escalier un peu raide pour moi et mon âge certain ..

Proximité plages du débarquement. Chambre à l'étage agréable.

Situé au bord d'une route à grande circulation, impossible de se reposer sur la petite terrasse, ni d'ouvrir les fenêtres à cause du bruit. Logement sombre. Village sans intérêt.

L'hôte est sympathique, disponible, très accueillante. Le lieu est calme, bien placé près des plages et des musées du débarquement (au centre du site au sens large), de taille moyenne mais c'est vraiment suffisant et confortable, le tout à un prix correct.

Situation idéale pour visiter Bayeux et les plages du débarquement.

Un accueil particulièrement gentil ,un hébergement qui correspondait exactement à ce que j'attendais : propre, coquet, fonctionnel et oû rien ne manquait. La proximité de Bayeux, très facilement accessible et aussi également des plages et sites (Port en Bessin, Coleville etc.). Accueil super pour mon petit chien, c'est très important pour moi !!!
