We enjoyed our stay in Le Gite Verger and were very comfortable there as the weather was poor.

The location was ideal for us to visit the D day Landing Beaches, along the Nomandy Coast and the Memorials and Museums and was also close to BAYEAUX

The access into the parking area was a little tricky, near to a junction but the road was only busy at peak times so this could be compensated for by choosing a fairly quiet time to go out etc. Once we had practiced with the car a couple of times we were more confident in exiting the property safely.

Our first trip to Normandy

The garden was perfect for our 2 Jack Russells, absolutely huge and secure. Location was excellent for all the sightseeing. The local Port was beautiful with shops and restaurants.

If I was pushed to say anything, it would be that the sofa which is also a put me up bed, was far too small for my 6ft husband and we struggled to relax on it in the evening. The bed needs proper pillows and the internet was sporadic at best.

Great little hideaway if you want somewhere quiet to explore.

It was quiet, perfect location for exploring the D-Day beaches. The host family were very accommodating as our French isn’t great!

We had an issue with the plumbing but the host family sorted this very quickly.

Friendly owner, very beautiful gardens all around the house, great location towards Port-en-bessin, which is a surprisingly nice seaside town with many cafes, restaurants and a high cliff lookout points. The house itself is cozy, heating was functioning well (it was mid-April), bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed to make simple meals.

- Friendly owners, very welcoming. - Very nice accomodation and garden, they look nicer than the photos suggest. - Great location; near the coast, near a lot of sights, Port-en-Bessin is very near (a nice and lively fishing town). - The house is well equipped. - Nice interior.

Things were almost good- 3/4 of shower door, mini bath towels that smelt like cigarettes, some kitchen utensils, no salt or oil but a bag of frozen chips?

Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et ont des conseils avisés pour visiter le coin. L emplacement est parfait pour découvrir les plages du débarquement. Le gîte est très propre, bien équipé et décoré avec soin. Petit cocon pour un séjour agréable. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Je recommande.

L'amabilitat del propietari. L'amplitud de la casa i el jardí privat (ideal per a la nostra gossa). Privacitat absokuta i molt ben comunicat per a visitar lea platges de Normandia. La pressió de la durxa és excel.lent i l'aigua surt ben calenta. La taula a la cuina és ideal!

El bany és força petit i li cal una renovació. Però a noslatres ja ens va servir. No hi ha sabó ni tovalloles (a nosalrres ens les van deixar per petició expressa uns dies abans, cosa que vam agrair molt per a la nostra estada de 8 nits).

Le gîte détient tous le nécessaire pour profiter de vacances au calme.

Un petit coin de paradis localisé pas très loin de la mère où on peux trouver une plage magnifique et très naturelle. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et respectueux. Le jardin est grande, plein des oiseaux qui chantent.
