The perfect location to visit the local sites that have historic significance.

The breakfast was wonderful. Strong hot coffee, fresh croissant and other types of bread, along with butter jam, ham and brie. Our room looked out over the beach with the sea beyond. Nice and spacious room ( nacré), sea vieuw. Choosen this BB with nice ratings for the last night of our trip in Bretagne & Normandie. Unfortunately, the owner had organized a private event in/around the B&B without any communication in advance & pre-payement booking..

Due to the private event with friends & clients, no check in, zero service, after 45' waiting installed ourselves, no privacy, zero privacy and quiet location with people all over the place, in the garden, in the kitchen, around our room, no reservation in the restaurant as promised and confirmated, so verry embarrassing at a fully restaurant, no quiet room and open windows due party in the garden and thus closen windows, 3 friendly messages sent to the present owner during our stay, but no answers, zero communication and last but not least and also expected...at 8u30 no breakfast at all, nobody seen, zero breakfast. We left at 9u without breakfast without any contact. I travel a lot and I know it is was not a normal stay, but unfortunately was this my worst experience ever in a B&B .. We sent a message after we left the place, but also as expected..no answers, no apologizes, nothing, zero...realy dissapointing after high expectations/ratings..it was better to close the BB for one day instead of earning money without guesting.

Highly recommended and a perfect destination in Normandy

Everything about this experience was absolutely outstanding. Denis is a wonderful and thoughtful host and made our trip truly special. The accommodations were perfect, plenty of hot water in the shower, breakfast was delicious, but most importantly we simply felt at home and welcome in his building.

There is nothing we would have done differently or asked of Denis.

Our host Dennis was wonderful. The continental breakfast was lovely. The views from the hotel, on the beach, were exceptional. Check-in was simple.

There was no hair conditioner in the shower, nor was there an iron, but to be fair, I never asked if there was any available.

Outstanding host, excellent location, great breakfast a joy in every way.

Certainly the location is fantastic, and the beach access immediate, but the true highlight of this trip was the host Denis, himself. A classically trained artist and genuine soul, he made our visit simply outstanding. I've stayed all over France for more than two decades and he certainly ranks in my top 5 hosts of all time.

The sheets had a very strong detergent fragrance which was tough for me as I have fragrance allergies. But my friend who doesn't have such allergies thought they smelled nice.

You feel like you’re staying at a friend of the family’s home

Denis is an incredible caring person. His home is just lovely. It is the perfect place for a getaway and relaxation . He made us feel so welcome and comfortable there. We could’ve listened to Denis all day talk but there is so much to do and see in that area . Breakfast was wonderful. He is very accommodating on that and his rooms were very spacious. I would recommend it to anybody wanting to go to the area. It is walking distance into town. We have a larger car and parking out. Front was very easy.

Stunning views of the sea from our bedroom. Very comfy bed and the room was quiet and dark. Denis the host was charming and made us a lovely breakfast. 2 miles from Pointe du Hoc. 15-20 walk mins into the town. Limited eateries so make sure you book.

Newly built addition on an historical home right above the English Channel very near the Normandy Historical beaches. Lovely decor, clean facilities and an attentive owner/host. The owner had great suggestions for restaurants, nearby shops off the beaten track, and some amazing ice cream recommendations. The breakfast and fresh bread were superb and we were sad we had to leave so early to make the drive to Lille.

Dream location in Normandy

You rarely find accommodation as perfect as Les 4 Vents. The quiet location with its ocean view is a dream and perfect to unwind. The room was impeccable and the bed as comfortable as home with luxurious sheets. Breakfast in the garden was another highlight. We would have loved to stay longer to read in the wonderful garden or to swim in the ocean right in front of the house. Thank you, Denis, for the lovely time in Grandcamp-Maisy et à bientôt.

Everything! The room was beautiful and clean and the view was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was so good everytime with local products and wonderful bread and pastry. Beautiful, relaxed

I came hear with my husband and my Dad 2 nights and the place was exceptional - stunning views from our room. The hosts were so welcoming and relaxed. The breakfast out on the lawn in the morning was incredible. The place is also right on the cycle lane to the omaha beaches and historic sites. The village is also a 10 minute walk away and right o the sea. Beautiful restaurants in the area. I would go back tomorrow if I could.
