About this house rental
ONLY 120 feet from the Beach. Enjoy the breathtaking ocean views and the unique decor while vacationing. Unlike many of the newer 'mansion' beach houses, this house maintains the feeling of a true beach house while providing a comfortable vacation center for beach lovers.
This beach house is one of the original houses built in ocean sands - it is older, more rustic and a traditional ocean house. No home theaters, music studios or elevators.
Please pass us by if you want a high end hotel.
The first floor features 4 bedrooms (each with its own half bath and sharing a shower/bathtub with a neighboring room), and a full laundry room. There is also a Private Hot Tub and a Gas BBQ Grill, along with a hanging swing and deck chairs. The second floor offers the large great room, kitchen, and dining area, as well as gorgeous southeastern ocean views. There is also a fifth bedroom with full bathroom access. The kitchen has modern appliances and is of an open design. Sunbathers will enjoy the large wraparound decks on both floors. The third floor consists of a game room/sun room fully equipped and ready for some fun with a queen futon, TV, and a Foosball table.
Sleeps 12 in regular beds - with an additional 2 on the futon in the game room
Discounts given to military, law enforcement, fire personnel and teachers. You should be recognized for what you do for US.
Pets aren't just welcomed - they are ENCOURAGED!
STARTING IN 2024 - As a result of numerous guests damaging the house we will require BOTH damage insurance AND a security deposit. For those people that treat their vacation houses with care we sincerely apologize for the additional "temporary" cost. (which will be refunded after a post departure inspection). Hopefully this will be a short term change to our policy.

Our stay was great. Close to the beach, lots to do at the house while we waited out Hurricane Erin. House was clean, cool and we all had a great time, all 13 of us. Would book again in a heartbeat.

Just as advertised, this was a beautiful home and we had a wonderful time there! We had excellent communication with the renters. Would recommend to anyone!

Greg is an excellent, communicative host who posts an honest, accurate description of a well-equipped, older property. Extras abound: ceiling fans and TVs everywhere, plenty of bathrooms, two private decks w/1 gas grill, a sheltered hot tub, a comfy game room, an outdoor shower foot shower, lots of towels and beach chairs, plenty of dinnerware, a great location very near free tennis/ paddle ball, groceries, and ice cream, and a small bowl of chocolates awaiting your arrival. You can tell this is one of the original Outer Banks properties--not an upscale mansion with bright colors and wall hangings--and his cleaning crew could do better, though some of you won't notice. Free parking easily fits 5 vehicles. The beach walk is a few minutes, with good waves and not a particularly large crowd well north of the Duck bottleneck. In all, Greg provided a fun stay in line with his own description.

The property was close to beach. Owner was very reachable and helped with any issues we had. Inside does need to be updated.
