Spuberb B&B

Warm, informative welcome from Luca. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated - great shower. The house itself is in a superb location, very rural, wonderful views from the lovely garden and breakfast terrace, less than 10 minutes walk to the centre of the great old town of Finalborgo with its restaurants, bars and shops. Gabriella’s breakfasts were excellent. I could have happily stayed longer than 3 nights.

WiFi signal very weak and at times non existent. 4G coverage good though, so filled the gap.

Finalborgo is a hidden gem, and despite the small space and humidity, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily retur

We had a lovely stay! The host was very kind and welcoming, which made us feel at home. We really loved the location – the area is peaceful and charming, with a beautiful little courtyard and a quiet, almost timeless atmosphere. It’s just a short walk to the breathtakingly beautiful old town, which we absolutely fell in love with. The whole town had a very special and relaxed vibe that really stuck with us.

The room was quite damp – we noticed it in the air, the bedding, and even our clothes. Also, the space was a bit tight for the three of us with a small child, but since we stayed only for two nights, it worked out fine.

Beautiful, quiet, bed and breakfast with great family managing the property.

What a great place to stay! The family is very nice and made special accommodation for early breakfast so we could get to our bike shuttle on time. They also helped with restaurant recommendations and were so responsive to questions. The breakfast was delicious. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A brilliant B&B in a great location a short walk from the hidden gem of Finalborgo.

The location in Finalborgo was excellent - a 5 minute walk into the old town and about a 1.2 km walk to the sea (or you could catch the bus). The hosts were outstanding. We arrived late and it was no trouble. The host even insisted on giving up her dinner reservation for us at a brilliant restaurant in town. Breakfast was great with home made Italian apple cake and other treats. The rooms were spotless and beautifully set up. Parking is not easy in Finalborgo so being able to leave our cars at the B&B and walk everywhere was great - the driveway was quite tight for larger cars but once there the parking was fine. The host has set this up very well with pleasant outdoor areas to eat breakfast or to sit and have a drink. I normally struggle to know whether to give an establishment a 7 or 8 or sometimes even a 9 but this place is clearly a 10. Finalborgo was an unexpected gem but a word of warning - stay here and not down the road by the sea at the slightly tacky Finalmarina.

This place is much more beautiful than the photos - breakfast (exceptional, homemade cakes and jams) with olive groves in the background. Hosts were so nice and even gave us a lift to the train station when we left. The place is beautiful and clean and comfortable, can't recommend it enough.

Lovely property just outside of Finalborgo!

Had a wonderful stay at Castelli in Aria for a long bike weekend in Finale. The property is in a quiet location just outside Finalborgo, only a short walk (ca 10 minutes) away from the shops, bars and restaurants of that area. Finale Marina can be accessed with a 10-15 minute bike ride along the main road. The rooms are tastefully decorated and offer all the comforts you would need for a weekend away. There are lovely outside spaces to relax accessible from most rooms as well as views of the surrounding hillsides and the Forte San Giovanni. Breakfast was generous with a good spread of local sweet pastries and more "continental" options. The hosts were lovely and even offered alternative breakfast service for us to catch the early shuttle slots in time. There is parking on site as well as secure bike parking in the garage.

If you are looking for an accommodation close to the beach (Finale Marina) or right in Finalborgo, this is obviously not it. Otherwise, there is not much to dislike about the property. Will happily return.

Beautiful and peaceful location.

Great location close to Finalborgo, Rock climbing/mtn biking. 30 min walk to beach. Our hosts were friendly, gave great recommendations and even helped us find local wines at the grocery store to bring home with us. The breakfast was typical Italian and very good.

Google maps takes you down a private road that was narrow with switchbacks (difficult to navigate and turn around) when you put in their address so need to get to town before heading up to the b&b.

The house is located at a reasonable distance from the main commercial town and beach. It's possible to walk to shops and restaurants. The beach can be reached by local bus or by car. The house offers a tranquil local location. The rooms are fresh, very clean and with good linen and towels. The owners are available when needed and are extremely helpful. They present their house with pride and have a lovely garden with fantastic views. Breakfast is in the garden and sufficient to get you started for the day ahead. The town offers a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The beaches are sandy and the sea is goid for swimming. Excellent stay and would go back again.

Great welcoming by Luca, very nice breakfast with homemade cake, excellent views of the mountains, nice garden to sit beneath the orangetree, and the cosy centre of FinalBorgo within walking distance.

Bedroom quite cold in December but w/ heater the room is comfy. Lovely town and excellent breakfast!

Great location - just a short walk to center of very charming town with many restaurants. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. Breakfast was one of the best parts of our stay: many fresh fruit juices, freshly baked apple cake, muesli, etc. The owner was very sweet, accommodating, and easy to communicate with despite not speaking the same language.

At the end of December, the bedroom was quite cold (especially the floor). There was a heater but it was not very efficient. At least with the heater running all night it was eventually a comfortable temperature.

This place is absolutely fantastic. The location is very cute and tucked away but within walking distance of town center. The views from the patio for breakfast are great. The couple running the place is very friendly and helpful with tips, making sure your coffee is topped up in the morning and your breakfast is perfect. They provided storage for our bikes and a place to rinse them if needed. The rooms are also newly decorated, very clean and charming. I can not think of anything more we could have wanted. All this at a very reasonable price.

Mia figlia e mio marito hanno soggiornato presso la struttura e si sono trovati benissimo. Da quando mio marito ha messo piede nella stanza mi ha detto che era tutto incredibilmente pulito. soni stati tutti gentili e attenti anche alle esigenze di mia figlia che ha delle intolleranze alimentari. Fantastisch

Dit is een prachtige, modern ingerichte B&B op loopafstand van Finalborgo, waar je 's avonds een restaurant kunt uitkiezen. De kamers zijn ruim en comfortabel, het ontbijt prima verzorgd. Gastvrouw Gabriella voorzag ons van tips en gratis buskaartjes (speciaal voor toeristen), Gianpietro verzorgde het ontbijt op het terras met prachtig uitzicht, en schoonzoon Luca bood spontaan aan om ons naar het station te brengen voor een dagtrip naar Genua (met de trein omzeil je verkeers- en parkeerproblemen; een kaartje Finale - Genua kost €7,70 of €10 met de intercity), waar het aquarium een aanrader is (senioren en kinderen krijgen korting op de entreeprijs). De grotten van Toirano zijn ook zeer de moeite waard. We waren hier twee dagen en die waren snel gevuld. Een top adres, en een mooie uitvalsbasis, ook als je naar het strand wilt.
