The property is deep cleaned between every booking, we continue to maintain a very high cleanliness standard :Foys (Mazeys Place at rear)is a Large Edwardian granite house, in a very quiet area ., (It is situated on the far left of the 'overview/thumbnail' picture of Mounts Bay)Completely refurbished annexe/flat , up new steps, with small balcony & terrace. Homeaway/Ourselves are not adding/charging any upfront damage deposits- damage would only be charged in the event of some Damages.
Luxury King sized bed and kitchenette , with separate lobby leading to luxury bathroom. Central Heating + Heated towel rail in bathroom. The room was very nice- Alec picked us up and dropped us off at the Penzance train station. A welcome package of bread, snacks, tea, coffee, milk, cereal, water , and a few beers were complimentary. A 20 minute walk to the promenade and train station was convenient. Highly recommend and would stay again!

10/10 A perfect little gem close to the centre and a stones throw to Penlee Park which is the perfect place to walk if you have a dog. Alec and Serena are such lovely hosts , kind , helpful and generous allowing guests to share their beautiful garden. The flat is spotless and comfortable and very much home from home. Very nice room with kitchen area, big shower room and view of a lovely garden. Great decor. Very comfy bed. Absolutely everything we could possibly need and bread, milk etc for our arrival. Also very well situated close to the town centre. Outside staircase access but the host’s charming son, who happened to be outside when we arrived, kindly carried our bags up for us.

Alec's little annex was perfect for us. It was clean, very attractively furnished and Alec provided us with everything we needed for the first few days. The fridge was well stocked. The location was awesome, within walking distance of the harbor, bus station and good restaurants. There was also a parking space, which is not a given. We can unconditionally recommend the accommodation. Thank you very much

Mazey’s Place is a lovely studio apartment and was a great place for my husband and I to stay while exploring this area of Cornwall. We loved returning to this quiet spot with a view over the lovely garden when we returned each day from a long hike. Lots of brochures and books to help you plan out your days. Alec was a great host. There for us if we needed anything, but not intrusive. Highly recommend.

This was a perfect studio apartment for 2. Very clean and cute. It was extremely well stocked with a fresh loaf of bread, coffee, milk, cereal, bottled water, ice cubes, 2 small bottles of wine.and all the condiments. The host Alec even picked us up at the train station with all our luggage! We’ll done Selena and Alec. We would highly recommend this VRBO, the best we ever stayed in!!

We had an amazing stay here during our trip to Penzance. The place is top notch, we felt very pampered with the quality of the furnishings, appliances, and all the extra bits you would need while travelling. The location is perfect, just far enough to be quiet but still right in the middle of Penzance. Hosts are super communicative and everything is set up for a great stay. We rented ebikes just down the road at the local Penzance bike hire, and grabbed some groceries from the coop and Lidle just a short stroll away. Train station is about 10 minutes walk away. The coin laundromat is just up the road and is a super clean facility.

We spent four nights of bliss at this cozy, quiet apartment within easy walking distance of Penzance. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful and provided nice welcoming touches that made us feel right at home. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower with its rainfall showerhead was very refreshing. The view of the gardens behind the property was a real treat, too. We would love to visit Penzance again someday and would stay at this property again in a heartbeat.

The Annex has character and plenty of facilities. Small enough to be cosy but enough space to spread out. Very comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom with good shower. 10 minutes walk to town centre, slightly further to seafront. Communication from the hosts was excellent throughout with helpful details on exactly exactly where to park and ahow to access The Annex. We recommend staying here.
