Chy-Darvah

The house was perfect for what we needed. Spacious, clean, easy to park outside, not too far from the nearby places to visit. It has Wi-Fi, TV, nice wet room. Laundry smelled lovely. Large and comfy sofa. Good value for money.

The oven was a bit too rusty. Kitchen tap needs some attention. The mattress was too soft for our liking. (we prefer firmer mattresses). Everything else was perfect.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect, very close to the town centre, supermarkets, bars, and restaurants, which made everything really convenient. The accommodation itself was very comfortable. The bathroom is huge and the shower has excellent water pressure! The kitchen is very well equipped, and the living room is spacious, cosy, and welcoming. The bedroom was also lovely, with a big, soft, and very comfortable bed. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it!

This property was spotless, modern and comfortable. It had everything we needed especially as we stayed 3 nights and needed to do some washing.Nice touches with biscuits and flowers. You do need to have a car to get round Penzance and it can be confusing if you don’t have a map. It took us a couple of goes to find an easier way down to the town. Suggestion that there is map and maybe some tourist information at the property because we found it hard to get information. I was having trouble accessing the internet on my phone so a physical map would have been handy. The information office was closed at 4pm so too late for us. Also maybe some information on the best place to park for the town centre would have been helpful. We found the car park by Penlee Gardens the cheapest and nearest for a quick stroll to town centre.

Well equipped kitchen

Lounge was a bit dark. Bed against the wall on one side so one person had to climb over the other to get out of bed. The hosts dogs were noisy, which triggered our dogs to bark., whilst we were warned that there were dogs there we didn’t expect them to be making as much noise. We found our dogs also reacted to the constant noise of movement from above, I would strongly suggest that soundproofing is installed in the flooring to save anyone else having an issue with this. Unless your dog doesn’t react to any noise, I would possibly tread with caution. A choice for a single solo traveller to consider.
