Charming boutique getaway embraced by the lake and mountains

It is our second time here, enjoying in charming, cozy rustic botique hotel. Parking included, by foot to the lake in 5 minutes. Breakfast is delicious, level up, as diabetic l have variety options. The team provides a warm, personal, and home-like experience. We are definatelly going to be back again soon!

A great hotel in one of the most naturally beautiful places in the world!

Attractive and welcoming and walking distance to the lake. Breakfast was very good. Also has a very good restaurant for evening dining. Very traditional style Slovenian accomodation.

No air con in the room which we knew but hey provided a fan.

A great location with friendly and helpful staff in a charming area.

We loved the restaurant and the friendliness of the staff. The apartment was spacious for 4 people in a very quiet area. The staff were all very helpful and always had a smile. We would recommend the hotel to our family and friends, in the same way it was recommended by a family member to us.

As we were travelling in August it did get quite hot and a fan or AC would have made it more comfortable. A mirror in the bedroom that had a sink would also have been useful. An outside area in the sun with some comfortable chairs to read would have been a nice touch as well.

No AC which is a problem over the summer with 30 degrees daily temperatures, noisy neighbors (someone in next room was drinking on a balcony till 2-3am; with no AC we had to close all windows during hot, summer night), no value for money breakfast

Artistic and cozy family hotel

Cozy rooms, beautiful interior design with amazing paintings, outstanding restaurant! There’s a sauna available but you need to book in advance so do it as the first thing when you arrive otherwise there’s a high chance it won’t be available. Breakfast was sufficient and very tasty, offering local products, like cheese,homemade jams etc. Just few minutes from the lake and there’s a bus stop that will take you up to the mountains for hiking trails. Super nice owner and restaurant staff. And very good wine selection!

Highly recommend! An unexpected surprise by Bohinj.

Based on the photos, the hotel looks nice but nothing too special. However, I cannot stress how wonderful the staff and hotel were! Everyone was very relaxed and happy to help. The wine selection was very good, and the food was very delicious and reasonably priced, especially for its high quality. The property is quiet, clean, and the beds are very comfortable. It was a very short and easy walk to Bohinj.

I wish there had been a little more privacy. The walls are a bit thin, and the balconies were close to each other without full dividers. If you stood at the balcony, you could see the other residents next to you, and you could hear anyone on their balcony. The bathroom also did not have a fully sealed door and some of the wall had frosted glass with some clear parts.

Lovely place to stay, friendly, knowledgeable staff, delicious dinner in the restaurant, to-die-for handmade chocolate, only wished we could have stayed longer.

Great base for visiting Lake Bohinj

Great location - within a 10 minute walk of Lake Bohinj - and a friendly welcome from the staff. The breakfast was very good - a nice buffet with lots of choice and local specialities. We had a spacious family suite with 2 rooms off a shared living area.

The rooms were very warm, even at night, as there was no air conditioning and it was a particularly hot few days in Bohinj with temperatures over 30 degrees.

A disappointing experience with poor service and basic amenities that did not match the hotel’s rating or reputation.

The location is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature. The hotel has potential, and the safe box was replaced when I reported the issue.

The staff was unwelcoming and unprofessional. The room lacked air conditioning, the safe box initially didn’t work, there was no phone in the room, and housekeeping was not provided during our stay.

The atmosphere of this small hotel is good, the paintings throughout the hotel help.

The breakfasts were the best we had on this trip on which we stayed at seven hotels. They have a waffle maker, which despite so many guests not using properly, and glueing the thing together, the staff remained helpful and calm. It was the only hotel in which we were offered properly made fresh coffee.

In summer temperatures if 35+, air-conditioning is necessary, but there is none.

Very tastefully furnished extremely comfortable accommodation, with great attention to detail in the accommodation as well as the restaurant. Food and wine excellent , good location ( not right in the centre of all the noise) Breakfast was wonderful

You won't be disappointed

Nice family-run hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is absolutely amazing as a starting point for hiking, mountain biking, and various sports. I loved their sauna and made good use of it. The sauna goes hot enough (this can be problematic at some other hotels, but here it can be regulated, so that's really good). Actually, they have a whole nice little spa, and I really appreciated how they decorated it to look like a cave. The restaurant offers really nice dinners, comparable to a fine dining experience. The waiter was really knowledgeable, charming, and able to recommend wine and food that go really well together. The breakfast is simple and doesn't paralyze you with too many choices, and offers high-quality sustenance so you can start your day to enjoy everything this breathtaking region has to offer.

nice hotel, very simple. very nice owner - we were not pleased with the room & she found a good solution for us. very good Restaurant for dinner ! ~ 35 euro PP for 3 dishes great breakfast - huge verity!

the pictures at booking.com for the room were misleading! a combinations of all rooms options. lucky us the owner was able to switch our room to a better one that meet our expectation that were based on the pictures.

i payed 180 euros for a room ( in summer high sesion ) using the sauna would cost an extra 30 euros because its 'private'. breakfast was nice and all fresh but quite a poor selection for a hotel of that standart.

Very peaceful and cozy hotel in a good location. The staff provided friendly and helpful service. It's great that local production was represented e.g. at breakfast.

The bathroom could use some renovation. Some of the tiles are cracked and the water does not always drain into the floor drain.

Really nice Hotel in a calm environment with friendly and helpful staff.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. Easy to access the nearby attractions by car, like Bled, Lake Bohinj, Ski Center Vogel or Kranjska Gora. Parking is easy in the hotels parking lot. The breakfast and the dinner is fine, special thanks to the guy who served us in the hotels restaurant during our stay, we really liked his morale! To summarize, this is a great Hotel which i can advise to everyone, and i am pretty sure we will also come back one day!

An exceptional hotel in the perfect location for a winter or summer visit to an absolutely beautiful area of the fantastic country. Staff are very friendly and helpful, service is excellent and the food either for breakfast or evening meal is delicious. Located perfectly , with a ten minute walk to the local shops and the fabulous lake Bohinj and a ten minute drive to the wonderful Vogel ski resort.

There isn’t anything we didn’t like. Service, food and location are perfect and the staff are brilliant. There is nothing to change in our opinion just keep doing what you are doing.

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast offered adequate variety of delicious food. Wellness area was a bit pricey, but it was worth it. Sauna, jacuzzi and the entire area was very pleasant and clean, an it is enjoyed privately.

Cozy accomodation in slovenian nature

staff is professional and friendly location is excellent, near lake Bohinj quality of breakfast is amazing with products of local manufacturers bed is surprisingly comfortable

our room has old style bathroom and there is no picture of it among pictures of room for two. actually old bathroom is also fine so there was no problem. our perception was different that is all.

First night out in Slovenia near the beautiful Bohinj's Lake!

We were three guys travelling by road bikes: they give us the possibilty to store it into the sky deposit of the hotel! Also, the staff gave us the possibilty to wash our cycling clothes. Fantastic breakfast.

A very little note: unfortunally was the only day that we couldn't eat in the restaurant with the set-priced menu of the hotel (they couldn't tell us why), but it wasn't a problem as there are many other places next to the hotel!

A gem in Bohinj. If your money.

The owner was so kind, and makes you feel as if it is your home. Their restaurant is amazing, very nice tasty, high cuisine food. And they even served our favourite natural orange wine, which is very rare to get, even in restaurants in Amsterdam. So we were happy with this surprise.

Nothing we did not liked. Everything is very clean. Beds were fine. We slept like a baby.
