This place was a real treat. The owners, Ans and Steve, are lovely people and it was a pleasure to chat with them. The room is cozy and filled with interesting touches, tea, coffee and extra treats. The bed is comfortable, the shower is great and the breakfast was delicious. It was a great place to stay for our visit to Obidos. There is an appealing looking outdoor pool, which, unfortunately, we didn't get to dip into in the winter. It would be great to hang out there on a hot summer day.
Note that if you don't have a car, the house is a solid 30-40 minute hike to Obidos. We really enjoyed the walk, through the countryside, but we did take a Bolt back to the house at night. Bolt and Uber are easily accessible, and inexpensive, from both Obidos and the bus station in Calda da Rainhas.

A great B&B style place not far from the center of town. Bed was comfortable with a duvet that was warm enough, given cool weather.

We were made to feel very welcomed. The b&b was excellent. You could feel and see the love and care in the rooms and outside areas. The swimming pool was a bonus as were all the outside areas. Ans and Steve are such a lovely couple doing a great job.
Very nice to have access to a fridge but missed having use of a basic kitchen. Though they provided outside/inside seating, plates etc.

Warm welcome by the owners who were available but discrete. Quiet and peaceful location at a 30' walk (or 5' ride) from Obidos castle. Great swimming pool with seats and beds.
