This was a charming place located inside the castle walls of Óbidos.
Staff was friendly and attentive and breakfast was good.
Parking is located on the opposite side of the hotel so be prepared to walk about 10 minutes with luggage.

This is a simply awesome location and unique lodging.
The origins of this home turned bed and breakfast is 400 years.
It is directly next to the village castle. Its inside the Obidos village walls! I didn't realize this all until we arrived. It was simply delightful. The breakfast room was beautiful and the breakfasts were a full spread of plenty. I couldn't have been more pleased.!!!
The staff were extremely kind helpful and multi lingual.
Be careful getting there and get help. It is, in fact, inside an ancient village inside of the town Obidos. Google maps can take you down the wrong roads. Make sure and contact the staff for specific directions before going, if you are driving yourself.
It was very quiet and private inspite of being in the very hub of this very popular destination! I wish we could have stayed much longer and want to go again soon!
I you are driving, Google maps is trickyand confused. Get directions from the right people before you drive there. It's truly inside castle walls!

Location absolutely wonderful
Breakfast superb for such a small establishment
Decor was absolutely the most fantastic/rustic/charming/beautiful place
room a little on the small side but absolutely magical. The furnishings were so beautiful and so old fashioned

This is a charming hotel but rather run down and excellently located. It was very cold during our visit but the heating for our room was inadequate and the dining area was also cold.
