    My first time stayong in a castle! Loved it and loved seeing all the travellers swarming our "hotel" in the morning. A king bed would have made it a 5 star experience all the way. Lots of stairs, but if you're visiting Obeidos, get used to it.

    Facilities are excellent and clean. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the palace. However, it seemed the receptionist was not good at English. Our questions were not understood. We had to ask different staff to resolve the issue. Scored two stars for the receptionist but the another staff who brought our baggages spoke English well and helps us out.

    Great location inside the old walls. This hotel is part of the old palace. The common areas are magnificent while the rooms are small and basic. On arrival to the exterior wall, call the hotel for a golf cart to get you and your bag to the hotel.

    This is an OLD castle 700 years. It has been retrofitted to being a hotel. It is not Versailles. There are going be some glitches- rooms darker, smaller than you thought. Furniture adequate but not palatial. It’s a castle. Lots of stairs to get to SOME rooms, so inquire But it’s magical- the views, roaming around on top of the castle walls, the food. It has 19 rooms and only you and other guests get to see inside. And roam the property at will. The public can see the grounds during the day, but not inside. So go understanding something may not be quite working as planned, but the staff does everything to rectify if possible.
