I want express my deep dissatisfaction with our recent stay at Hotel Posh during the week of What was supposed to be a relaxing family vacation turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience due to numerous issues with both the facilities and the service. Firstly, the condition of the pool area was unacceptable. The pool was visibly dirty, with hair floating on the water’s surface and even on the chairs that are submerged in the pool. The pool tiles were discolored and stained yellow, which gave the entire area an unhygienic appearance. Additionally, there was no staff service available at the pool area at any point during our stay. The suite we were given was outdated and poorly maintained. There were exposed wires coming out from behind the TV, the air conditioning units were extremely loud, and we were constantly disturbed by noise from other plugged-in devices in the room. The bathroom sink was clogged and unusable, and shockingly, we found hair on the bed linen — strongly suggesting the sheets had not been changed between guests. Moreover, the hotel restaurant was closed with no prior notice, and the person working the overnight shift was unhelpful and rude , not even saying hello Due to the poor condition of your pool, we had no choice but to pay an additional €200 to use the pool facilities at a nearby hotel so our children could enjoy at least part of their vacation. On the final day of our stay, the water was completely shut off — we could not shower, flush the toilet, or even wash our hands before a long drive to another country. When we reported this, the staff simply blamed the city, without offering any real assistance or alternatives. We are extremely disappointed by this experience, which did not at all match the standards or expectations set by your hotel’s description or price point. Picture and video below !!

Beautiful spot, excellent and comfortable rooms and amazing staff.

We loved the location and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was enormous and the kitchen was very well kitted out. There was a microwave, oven, dishwasher, hob, coffee machine and kettle. The pool is beautiful.

The hotel were very helpful having an option for ordering breakfast but we felt it would have been a bit more enjoyable if there were maybe a few cereals, juices and say pastries available on site. It would have been lovely to sit upstairs by the pool and have a bit of breakfast there. We did try the local supermarket 5 minutes away but the choice wasn’t great. We did visit end of October during half term so the season was nearly over.

Very expensive bling

To be fair the Posh Residence stands out as it's very contemporary. The view is great although the marina it looks onto isn't very premium.

The location was just ok. Down a street of fairly scruffy apartment blocks. It was very bling. A lot of gold decor. The kitchen was poorly laid out. Very expensive for the location.

Lovely boutique hotel with extremely well equipped and comfortable apartments. Pool area lovely. Staff very friendly and efficient.

Inconsiderate guests spoilt it for us on our only full day, to the point we left the pool area and went inside. Not the hotel’s fault but annoying nonetheless as it’s not cheap. Patio area was disappointing as it was always in shade.

Amazing place

Amazing decor, amenities and very spacious apartment. This is a hotel style location with all times staff presence. We drove to the place and were able to park with no additional cost. Even the garage was spotless! Highly recommended.

Everything 😀 lovely residence to chill and relax after sight seeing. Walking distance to old town. Quiet location near nice restaurants. Special thanks to ladies on reception for organising tour and going out of their way to ensure we had a great service. Coffee excellent and the pool is so nice and never over crowded. Would recommend and would return should we return to Split this would be our first choice.

Nothing really liked this property and would return. Only small recommendation would be bring back the bar that was previously available a couple of years ago. 😀. However, not a biggie as wine shop close by. Also would be nice to have a bottle of water each day rather than on arrival day. Again not a biggie just a small recommendation to make this perfect in every way 😀

Perfection. This small boutique hotel is very unique and special

The property is stunning. “Posh” is an understatement!!! The level of detail that went into constructing this property is next level. The decor… the pool furniture… the gym… everything is high end and sparkling clean. We had a two bedroom suite and it was perfect for our group of four. The staff (front desk.. etc) were beyond kind and super helpful. The hotel is about 20 to 25 minute walk from split old town and about an 8-10 Euro uber ride. We didn’t mind this because we actually like being more of a quiet, residential setting. There is no breakfast included so we picked up yoghurt and croissants and ate in the morning on the pool deck or in our room.

Just a small quibble is that the pillows were bit quite thick but when I asked for a thinner pillow, they gave me one right away. They aim to please. If you want to be in the centre of old town this is not the property for you, but if you want to go for dinner in the centre of split and then stay in a quiet, beautiful hotel, I can’t recommend this place highly enough

Receptionist was really helpful and gave us all the information we needed as well as some excellent recommendations for food and getting in to the centre

First impressions of staff on reception. Wow, these ladies/one gent were outstanding on service, knowledge and everything we asked for was always “Yes we can support you with that”. The property was Impeccable, lush, clean and so relaxing, exceptional, one of the best hotels I have stayed in (short stay x 4 nights).

The bathroom had a smell of drains. We had the room called “Charm”, this room was situated below reception area. We didn’t spend much time in our suite, so did not feel the need to report this. Although, our room was downstairs there was some noise/disruption in the mornings. I did report this to the reception.

Quiet location , very peaceful with lovely pool area . Ideal to relax . The staff were all extremely helpful, always available, friendly and professional. Some excellent restaurants and beach all within walking distance of the property.

There was nothing that we didn’t like about the property or its staff .. perhaps in the future breakfast packages could be made available as an additional option .

The hotel looks good, modern and is very clean. Little bit oddly situated compared to the surrounding residential buildings and doesn’t really fit in by comparison but the views of the sea and marina from the hotel are great. The reception staff were also great, very friendly and overall accommodating. The old town is about 25 minute walk which is a bit long but an Uber to the old town was cheap always available. The gym was good, and the free coffee machine in reception was a nice touch. I feel like the place could do with a bar but it was easy to get drinks ect delivered from local supermarket.

Our air conditioning was broke in both bedrooms when we checked in. They were both leaking and the main bedroom temp wouldn’t go below 26C. The staff were very apologetic but could not get the air con company to attend that first night, which I could accept given it was towards the end of the day. Then the second day they did also not attend and we spent a second night with broken air conditioning. On the third day the staff moved us to another suite and the air con was fine. As we were only staying 4 nights this did ruin a lot of our holiday and for 730 euros a night I wouldn’t expect issues like this. Also to note as the complex is quite small the suite balconies overlook the pool area. We had a loud group staying at the same time as us and as they spent most of their time at the pool it ruined sitting out on the balconies peacefully for us, not the hotels fault but also not ever an issue for me when staying at a larger chain 5 star hotel.

from the moment we entered the hotel it felt like luxury. the staff were absolutely amazing during our stay if we needed anything they were always there for us. our first time visiting split and they made sure it was our best. treated my dad for his birthday to this hotel and he absolutely loved it. thank you again, we will be back hopefully Sept x

what a fabulous boutique hotel. We loved our stay at the POSH hotel. we were given a warm welcome when we arrived, able to check in early and were even provided a generous room upgrade too! The facilities are amazing - clean, modern rooms and state of the art equipment in the gym. The breakfast spread was plentiful and you could eat either in your suite or out on the beautiful pool terrace. You simply just selected from a varied menu the night previous and all was ready for you at your chosen time each morning. The staff were just incredible. They were friendly, attentive and nothing was ever an issue.

Splits Best Hotel

What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy. The views are stunning over the marina & Adriatic Sea, the apartment is well designed & tasteflly decorated, the bfast choices are extensive, the wifi is strong & the staff have been amazing & parking is secure and convenient. We were caught up in the snow storm & the hotel kindly moved our checkin date by a day and upon arrival a warm welcome with a free upgrade to a luxury suite was given, excellent service.

A fantastic few days at Hotel Posh

With only 6 suites in this complex our suite felt like we were guests in a private luxurious home, with well-dressed and attentive staff on hand at all times. The exterior and inside interior design was inspirational, luxurious. Congrats to the designers for this exquisite accommodation and to the staff for running this accommodation so well.
