Apartment Butterfly in Split for 6 persons

Great location and view. Apartment plan is perfect, very spatious and has everything that you need.

The appartment is not properly maintained. It's clear the owner invested once and now just collects the money with minimal maintenence. We asked the property manager to fix ripped off toothbrush cup holders in the bathroom, ripped out / hanging electric socket in the living room and mirrow lights in the bathroom. The lights as a result were not fixed. Same with kitchen lights above the gas stove. The walls are dirty with stains everywhere and need to be refreshed in each room. The paint on the balcony ceiling has come off in several places. In terms of comfort - I asked if they could install towel hooks in the bathroom, because we literally had to throw the towels on the sink or hang on the bath side due to lack of hooks close to the shower. The manager just shrugged it off saying the apartment is not hers and she is just managing it (obviously she does not even have a budget for improvements). There are 2 air conditioners - one in the living room/kitchen and another one in the corridor - so if you want to keep your room cool at nights you will need to keep all the doors open, which is not ideal for privacy. The walls are thin and you can hear every noise from other rooms and neighbours. So if you are looking for a quiet place and privacy - that's not it. The apartment has electric stove, but the pan is a very light aluminum, cheap one, that takes forever to heat up and does not cook well (OK, I know, I know, I am just being picky). So all in all it is liveable and the view from the balcony is definitely worth every penny, but it's up for you to decide weather you want a clean and perfect apartment for the money or not.

Die Unterkunft punktet definitiv mit ihrer fantastischen, unschlagbaren Aussicht auf das Meer und den Sporthafen – ein echtes Highlight beim morgendlichen Kaffee! Die Highlights der Unterkunft Lage: Die ruhige Umgebung direkt am Sporthafen ist ideal für alle, die dem Trubel der Innenstadt am Abend entfliehen möchten. Gleichzeitig ist das Zentrum über einen sehr schönen Spaziergang von nur ca. 25 Minuten entlang des Wassers bequem erreichbar. Gastgeber: Wir wurden äußerst freundlich empfangen und mit vielen exzellenten Restaurant-Empfehlungen versorgt, die unseren Aufenthalt kulinarisch bereichert haben. Die Kommunikation und Hilfsbereitschaft waren vorbildlich. Diese Wohnung ist perfekt für Reisende, die Ruhe, eine tolle Aussicht und die Nähe zur Innenstadt schätzen und den Fokus weniger auf eine moderne Inneneinrichtung legen. Mit einigen gezielten Renovierungen und Reparaturen könnte diese Wohnung mit ihrer Top-Lage ein absoluter Geheimtipp werden! Wir bedanken uns beim Gastgeber für den freundlichen Empfang!

Konstruktive Anmerkungen Damit zukünftige Gäste das volle Potenzial dieser Wohnung ausschöpfen können, wären einige Investitionen in die Ausstattung sehr wünschenswert. Die Wohnung ist sauber und funktional, jedoch sind die Möbel etwas abgewohnt und wirken zusammengewürfelt, was den Gesamteindruck beeinträchtigt. Einige kleinere technische Mängel sind uns aufgefallen, die einfach behoben werden könnten, aber den Komfort mindern: Einige Steckdosen und Lampen waren defekt oder funktionierten nicht zuverlässig. Die Betten waren bequem, jedoch quietschten sie bei jeder Bewegung. Das WLAN-Signal war leider sehr schwach und nicht immer stabil.

I think it would be nice to have more than one shower considering it is for 6 people.

Oui une personne est venue nous remettre les clés mais nous n'avons pas eu beaucoup d'explications. Les points positifs de cet appartement sont la localisation, proche de la plage accessible à pied et à 35 mn de la vieille ville. La vue également sur le port est appréciable avec le salon d'extérieur.

L'électroménager est vieillissant, la machine à café coule en 30 minutes ... les prises n'ont pas l'air d'être aux normes et le wifi fonctionne mal. La climatisation est dans le couloir et ne parvient pas jusqu'aux chambres. Il est noté 2 salles de bain alors que la deuxième ne contient qu'un wc et un petit lavabo. De la même façon, il n'y a pas de parking comme indiqué, il faut trouver un place dans la rue.
