Lovely in San Marco

The flat is in the centre, so walking distance to everywhere.We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The hosts were very welcoming and waited for us with the keys at 11 PM, even though our flight was delayed, which we greatly appreciated. They also provided us with a city map and gave us excellent recommendations for local restaurants and places to eat. The location is outstanding – just a one-minute walk from St. Marco's Square and within easy reach of all the main attractions and vaporettos (waterbus).

The apartment was quite dark and we had to keep the lights on even during the daytime. The shower was very narrow, which could be uncomfortable for larger guests. The kitchen was only basically equipped and lacked some common appliances such as an electric kettle and a microwave. There was also only one bath towel and one small towel provided per person.

The TV did not work and when fixed it had strange stations, difficult to find the main Italian channels

A great host provides a clean, welcoming environment with essential amenities (tea/coffee, Wi-Fi), while a "great location" is accurately represented, well-located for attractions, and managed with clear communication.

Rooms are in darknes, almost without natural light. View from the rooms is on nerrow streets. No handwash soap.
