Large apartment size
Location was slightly out of the main area which was good because it was quiet
They used bleach to clean the bathroom which had a very strong smell when we arrived
The split system in the bedroom was old and so was quite loud. You couldn’t leave it running at night which then made the room hot

The host was responsive, the apartment was large and clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils etc
The location was much more inconvenient than we had previously anticipated (10-15 minute walk to the nearest ferry station and 40+ minute walk from the main attractions). Besides a handful of cafes nearby, the area is quite empty and very residential. We had to collect our own garbage and either hand it to the garbagemen at 9am every morning or throw it away ourselves 10 minutes away). The apartment AC is controlled by the host and so the apartment was at 24.7+ degrees (they wouldn't turn it down and told us to use the bedroom one), and the bedroom AC had to be turned off before midnight so we couldn't sleep with the AC on. There is a washing machine but we had to buy our own detergent.
