Perfect central location in Campo Santa Margherita.

Perfect location! The unit was spacious and light with adequate cooking facilities and windows on the main square.

It is a 400 year old building with many stairs, some without handrails. Large rooftop space with limited city views. Closeline for hand laundry.

A wonderful stay at St. Margherita Square in the heart of Venice

The apartment is just perfect. It is located in a 16th-century building on the quiet side of St. Margherita Square in the academic centre of Dorsoduro, close to restaurants, shops, and other amenities. When you open the windows, you can feel the spirit of a living Venice, although it is never too loud. It is close to the Church of Santa Maria dei Carmini, where there are beautiful bell concerts a couple of times a day — you'll miss them when you move out! It has a big, sunny terrace and, because it is close to one of the canals, there is often a breeze that makes it cooler. There is air conditioning inside. The apartment is perfectly equipped and probably the highest standard we've ever had, with details like high-quality cutlery and soap. We've found a welcome gift with small Prosecco, coffee, tea and many other helpful details. It's spotlessly clean and tastefully designed, with an antique chest of drawers in the bedroom. The owner, registered our stay to obtain an exemption from tourist fees, and he allowed us to leave our luggage there long before the check-in time. He is an extremely polite and discreet owner. We've been to Venice about 20 times, but this is the first time we consider coming back to the same place.

We missed a parasol on the terrace a bit and an AC fan was loud, but we were in the middle of July, during the hottest days. These were not big issues though.

Wonderful place, highly recommended!

Fantastic place to stay, we enjoyed every moment - from the arrival when we were greeted by the host, to every morning after sleeping comfortably and having enough space to prepare for the day. Location is very convenient - close to the bus and train station, and also to all main attractions. There is a wonderful gelateria at the piazza, pizza place, restaurants and a supermarket. In the morning fresh fruits and vegetables are sold nearby. There is also a small fridge with welcoming drinks which we hugely appreciated since we arrived late. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!

A clean and spacious hotel-style room in a perfect location.

This is not an apartment but a proper hotel-style room — clean, spacious, and cozy. Exactly as described: comfortable bed, large bathroom, fast Wi-Fi, and a mini-fridge. Quiet at night; around 8 a.m. a nearby bell rings, which isn't a problem but worth noting. Very convenient location with many restaurants nearby, close to both the boat and train stations. The host is friendly and always available. A great choice if you're looking for true hotel comfort without surprises.

A really convenient and comfortable place to stay

Located at the far end of Campo Santa Margherita close to Ca' Rezzonico, Accademia vaporetto stops, and a short walk from Piazzale Roma (or Venice train station), Casa Renata is really conveniently situated. The bedroom and bathroom are on the first floor of a historic building, a secure set up with double doors upstairs, and are spacious, especially the bedroom, by comparison with quite a few other budget hotels in Venice. There for work and out every day, I slept soundly in the comfortable bed and enjoyed having a decent-sized wardrobe. The bathroom has a shower and good sized shelving for toiletries and hair dryer, again a relief after staying in places for work with tiny bathrooms. The shutters really do block out the noise on the Campo, not 100% but to the extent that one can sleep. There's a big sofa and a table and chair which adds to the versatility of the room, which is plainly furnished, always my preference. The wifi worked perfectly the whole time. The owner is very helpful.

I'd prefer lights that can be modulated a bit, and ideally to be able to open the shutters in the morning, but apart from these, Casa Renata was a really convenient and comfortable place to stay.

The location is perfect, close to the bus station to/from the airport. The square has all the amenities one needs, and although it gets busy and loud in the evevning, the windows block the noise very well. The host was very nice and forthcoming letting us stay after the expected checkout time. Complimentary drinks were a lovely bonus. Overall, great value for the price. Thank you!

ONE OF THE BEST!

Without a doubt, Casa Renata is one of the best accommodations since I travel in Italy. The location of the apartment is ideal for visiting Venice, close to all the important places, and also close to the ferry station where you can take the ferry for another islands near Venice (Burano, Murano, Lido etc). Mr. Enrico is a delight, very helpful with all the information that you need. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, even more! I will definitely come back here when I'll visit Venice again!

Great location in Campo San Margerita, which has a vibrant youthful, vibe. Not a touristy area like other parts of Venice. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. However, apartment was silent. Didn’t hear any street noise at all. Apartment was very spacious and very clean. Host Enrico was very friendly.

Virtually no markings on the building except for address number made it difficult to make sure we knocked on the right door. Used booking.com photos to help. Shower was a bit inconsistent temperature, but was good volume and pressure.

Amazing!

If you’re going to Venice, this is the place to stay! The room is in an old building from the 16th century which was very authentic to stay in! The room itself was very very spacious, very clean and modern! The bathroom was huge with all facilities. Comfortable bed and couch. Awesome big wardrobe. The double glazing on the balcony doors is incredible so the room is completely quiet during day and night. You get the feel you are the only ones in the building, very private. About a 20 minute walk to the main square but was nice to stay out of the crazy tourist part. The area this apartment is set in is perfect - lots of restaurants nearby and a supermarket too. Highly recommend!

Una bella casetta

La casa è molto accogliente, calorosa e autentica. Pulitissima e dotata di tutto quello che può servire e anche di più. Ovviamente bisogna tener presente che ha diversi secoli di storia e non è una stanza di hotel 5 stelle, ma credo sia ampiamente sopra gli standard di Venezia. Gli scuri consentono un bel buio per dormire quanto si vuole la mattina, con anche una piccola sorpresa nascosta. La posizione è ideale per chi vuol vedere Venezia non solo nella sua parte più turistica, con bei bar frequentati da gente del posto e studenti nelle vicinanze. Infine Enrico, il padrone di casa, è una persona squisita, davvero gentile, col quale parlare di argomenti vari è un vero piacere.

Idéal pour un séjour à Venise .

L’emplacement est idéal, à 15mn à pied de la place Roma. L’appartement se situe sur une place pleine de vie , bars et restaurants, et à la fois très tranquille, par une bonne isolation. Logement très fonctionnel, un lit très confortable, et petite attention d’Enrico très agréable. C’est un endroit que nous recommandons sans hésitation.

Sehr angenehmer und zuvorkommender Vermieter, gute Lage und geräumiges Quartier. Gute Schallisolierung zum in der Saison Tag und Nacht sehr belebten Platz… Sehr gastfreundlich und nicht selbstverständlich waren die in einem kleinen Kühlschrank bereitgestellten verschiedenen Getränke!

Für Gäste, die mit offenen Fenstern schlafen möchten ist das schöne Quartier an dem großen zentralen Campo zumindest in der Hauptsaison leider weniger geeignet

Va tutto bene!

Unser Gastgeber war ausgesprochen nett. Der Aufenthalt war sehr unkompliziert. Die Wohnung ist eher einfach, aber funktional und komplett ausgestattet. Eine tolle Lage an einem lebendigen, aber nie unangenehm lauten Platz. Der kleine, aber gut ausgestattete Supermarkt ist in 2 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Vaporettostationen Ca' Rezzonico und Basilio sind schnell zu erreichen.

Weingläser wären schön gewesen.

Dada a intenção de efetuar alguns dos "Percursos com Corto Maltese", a localização foi excelente para dois dos percursos. No Campo de Santa Margarida, há uma grande diversidade de opções de alimentação a preços moderados, recomendando-se a pizzaraia Al-Volo.

Não disponibilizar utensílios básicos de cozinha (Canecas, pires, copos e talheres), como por exemplo para tomar pequeno almoço

Enrico a été d’une grande gentillesse et très arrangeant. L’emplacement est parfait pour visiter Venise, la chambre est grande et confortable, à la fois proche des transports et de tous types de commerces, vraiment pratique. Le rapport qualité / prix pour Venise est vraiment bien : je recommande fortement !
