Very unique old home. Lots of history. Breakfast was very good. There was so much food for just the two of us, lots of choices.

Style and history
The location is conveniently close to the waterfall, which is a plus. However, despite being near such a beautiful spot, the area doesn’t feel very safe, which can be a bit unsettling.

Beautiful home, great history, lovely host, good location
There were a lot of emails (stressful) & I received a check out email the morning before I checked in.

I'm extremely uncomfortable with the overpromise and poor service attitude of the host. In a week before I check-in, I made a request about leaving my luggage earlier than 4pm on the check-in day via booking.com chat. And the staff replied a "Yes" for my request. However, just on one day before my check in date, the host texted me for double checking my check-in time, and stated that I cannot leave my luggage in their house before 4pm unless I pay an additional $20 to them. I tried negotiating with them and sent them a screenshot about their "Yes" to my previous request on booking.com. But they insisted that they cannot do that for free and I did not get any respect during communicating with them. In the end I had to last-minute change my travel plan and try to find a place to store my luggage for a few hours on the check-in day.
