Tranquility and Nature in 4 Bedroom with Sea View

Accueil très chaleureux de notre hôte qui était au petit soin. La maison est parfaite pour aller visiter Dubrovnik en famille. Super séjour et logement chaudement recommandé. Merci à Jozo pour le gâteau et toute la nourriture !

This property is a 20 min drive from Dubrovnik old town, conveniently situated and with lovely views. There was enough space for us to park x2 hire cars. The apartment is the top floor of a building, with a completely separate entrance. The host, Jozo, lives beneath and was very helpful. We were able to update him via WhatsAp with arrival time, and he met us and showed us in. He had also left some delicious food for us - bread, milk, ham+cheese and salad which was very welcome! There is one main open-plan living area/kitchen with 4 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms off this. One of these 'bedrooms' (double bed) is up a steep ladder, with curtains to draw across, so definitely better suited to someone younger, not needing to get up too much in the night! There is an efficient air conditioning unit in the main living area, but not the bedrooms, so we ended up leaving some of the bedroom doors open at night to cool down. A 5 min walk down a steep hill gets you to the main road where you can get the 1A bus which is then a 40 min ride into Dubrovnik Old Town. We thought this was better than driving in and trying to find somewhere to park cars. Also at the bottom of the hill is a well appointed local shop which had a good range of food, including gluten-free food.

Hot weather = lots of ants. But when we told Jozo about these, he came and dealt with them very promptly.
