Cute place in historic core

Anita was very communicative and friendly. The location is very convenient and you can walk easily into the town and the other way to the harbour. There is a lovely little restaurant next to the steps there. It’s quiet and i enjoyed the small courtyard, pretty and a nice place to relax.

Lots of the comments mention the parking and distance to walk to it from the car. That is true but it’s in a historic centre where cars are not allowed so book it knowing that or don’t book it - we didn’t mind it at all and the walk along a lovely quiet promenade is lovely. Lots of comments mention the steps to get back to it, book it knowing that but if you have no mobility issues we found it absolutely fine and enjoyed it. The parking ticket is a bit of a faff but it means Anita has paid for the parking so worth the little effort. Yes it has some limitations because of the location but they are part of choosing to be in a historic core.

This place was exactly what we were looking for and we highly recommend.

Staying at Vacation House Cavtat was a great experience. The house is very cute and has everything a family needs for a comfortable stay. It is very contemporary and has a well equipped kitchen. This charming property is only a few steps away from a beautiful beach, that also has a great restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks throughout the day. Sunbeds and umbrellas were also available for daily rental at the beach. The house is surrounded by pine trees and other vegetation that make the atmosphere so enjoyable and relaxing. We very much enjoyed being able to be within a few steps to everything, the beach, the path along the coast, the restaurants near the marina and the public parking where we parked the car throughout our stay. Anita the host was so responsive, accommodating and helpful throughout our stay.

For a vacation/holiday it was pretty excellent all round. Our only area to improve would be the bathroom ventilation, smell of damp and mould were starting to build up by the end of our trip.

Everything was perfect for our eight-day stay, a real home from home!

Anita, the host, met us upon our arrival and had arranged a transfer from the airport to the end of the harbour at the closest point to the property and we were assisted with our cases. You could not wish for a friendlier host, and Anita made us feel at home immediately. She had even provided welcoming provisions. We stayed in the smaller house and we were extremely comfortable there. The outside seating area was a perfect place to relax when not out and about, and Cice, the friendly grey and white cat was so sweet! We would certainly consider staying here again. The property is in a perfect location for access to the harbour and its restaurants and bars, and the beaches. What a wonderful place!

The property was so cute! We had a small space outside where we could leave stuff like floaters, and the cat of the owner is a cutie :) in the house it’s the perfect temperature and the bed were really comfortable !

This property was immaculately clean, perfect location and had everything we needed for a great week in a beautiful place, Anita was amazing providing information on all amenities and what was happening in Cavtat the week we were there and answered any questions we had quickly, she was so friendly and we had no issues at all

We stayed in the small house, for two people very comfortable. Everything you need was there. My respect to Anita. She is doing a very good job. She replies to any questions very quickly. Also, the shuttle service worked out for us very well. We will definitely stay at this location again. To get to the house, it's a little workout, but you have a nice private quiet place to stay. In walking distance to shops and restaurants. We ate at 4 different locations, and the food was excellent. The landscape is stunning.

Vacation House is a superb property and Anita is the perfect host.

The property was bigger than expected, super comfortable with everything we could possibly need. Anita is the perfect host. She responded to messages immediately and helped with all our needs. The house is in a lovely quiet street but within minutes of all the bars and restaurants. Catvat itself is the most picturesque town with all you could need.

It rained a couple of days, but I don't think Anita could prevent that! :)

Beautiful, bright and shiny apartment. Spacious for 3. Very comfortable, everything was thought through, even small things were there, like detergent for washing machine and dishwasher. Air conditioner, kitchen, wifi - everything worked well. Outside area was big and nice. Location perfect for us. On a hill, so a bit of climbing required, but if you are ok with it, it is 2 minutes to the best beach in Cavtat (we loved the restaurant on the beach too, by the way). 5 minutes to the town center with shops and restaurants and where the boats and buses to Dubrovnik leave. The owner was very nice, easy to communicate with and really helpful. Strong 10 overall

Wonderful, quiet flat in the centre of Cavtat

Anita has taken a lot of care to set up the place with care. It is very comfortable, and the outdoor area is a really nice place to spend time. This feels like a holiday home that the owner would want to stay in, not just furnished for economy. The location is perfect. In the middle of the old village, it is a 5 minute walk to the promenade on one side, and a little beach on the other. In a 10 minute walk you can reach the head of the peninsular for a spectacular sunset.

Anita was very helpful from the beginning, the communication was really good. The apartment it self located in the old town area which is very lovely and charming. The apartment it self very clean, comfortable and got everything we need. A bit downside is in order to get to the house you have to either claimed so many stairs or walk up on the hills (good exercise though)😂. Thank you Anita for everything, hope we will see you again. Molto carino

Appartamento molto carino, caldo e accogliente. L'esterno ha la possibilità di chiudere la porta e avere privacy oltre che uno spazio chiuso per poter lasciare libero il cane. Gli amici pelosi sono ben accetti e senza supplemento. La proprietaria Anita è molto gentile e sempre disponibile. L' appartamento aveva tutto il necessario ed è a pochi passi dal centro e dal mare (in salita con o senza gradini). La zona è comunque molto tranquilla e c'è un grande parco verde per poter passeggiare con il cane. Disponibilità di parcheggio a 600mt per chi viaggia in auto.

Al momento della prenotazione sapevamo che il parcheggio disponibile era a 600mt ma non ci è stato detto che l'appartamento non è raggiungibile in auto. Per chi viaggia con tanti bagagli questo significa non poter scaricare le valigie davanti casa, ma servirà farsi 600 mt a piedi più volte per portare tutto compreso un tratto nel bosco con gradini. Noi venivamo da un tour completo invernale della Croazia perciò avevamo parecchia roba da scaricare. Sarebbe stato utile saperlo per organizzare i bagagli diversamente e portare il minimo indispensabile.

Super nette Vermieterin, sehr sauber und perfekte Lage - besser geht nicht. Das Haus war perfekt vorbreitet und wir wurden freundlichst empfangen. Auch bei Fragen zwischendurch gab es schnell und freundlichste antworten. Auch der Check-out war komplett unkompliziert. Kinderfreundlich, ruhige Lage und dennoch voll im Zentrum einer wirklich schönen Altstadt. Gute Lokale gibt es viele, aber aufpassen mit der Winterruhezeit (die meisten machen von 1.11. bis 1.4. Winterpause)
