Conveniently located comfortable apartment and a great Host

Very close to the centre of town. The view from the balcony was great. The apartment was what we expected - clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and helpful, and arranged a taxi for us to get to the airport.

Nice view from the room and house is 2min from everything in town.

The location was spectacular for enjoying Cavtat. The room was very cute with a lovely balcony that gets the sun in the evening.

The bathroom, although for private use, isn’t en suite so you have to cross a corridor to use it.

Excellent value for money close to the center of Cavtat

As our last stop before catching our flight home, it’s perfect! The room was so clean, the bed comfortable and a lovely little balcony. The host was really responsive, will define to come back.

The bathroom is opposite the room in a shared hallway but totally manageable for one night and I believe they have fully contained appartment for longer stays.

A nice stay in the very center of the town

Perfect location. There is a steep hill, but it is short, no real difficulty, and it means you are right in the very center of the town with easy access to everything, very quickly. The view is beautiful. The shower is very powerful and efficient. The room is comfortable and clean. We definitely recommend Guest House Marija.

The view is almost due West, which means you have the evening sun on the balcony. You can't really use the balcony between about 6 and 8 o'clock as the sun is so fierce. I would strongly advise an awning or a parasol so that guests don't have to have direct sun at this time. As soon as the sun goes behind the trees, it is perfect again!

Poor guest care

Location I guess.

No tea or coffee left despite kettle cups etc. Being asked to leave at 9.57am I walked past the owner in the morning whilst trying to get tea/coffee from shop and he could hardly say a thing. I think with the room rate, more care toward guest.j Took money and that’s it.

A beautiful place with stunning view in the heart of Cavtat

The terrace with the view was fantastic! Generally great value for money, the place is right in the heart of the town. While the street is quiet, you can still hear the music coming from the restaurants in town which makes it very cozy. Super clean and well maintained place. The host was very friendly and helpful, grateful for his help with our taxi to the airport in the morning. Highly recommend!

Location was good, close to the bus station and town. The view from the balcony was outstanding. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. All in all, very happy with the choice.

The proximity to the old town and water was spectacular. Early check in at noon was amazing. Bed was very very comfortable. Host was extremely friendly. The view was beautiful.

10- !!! The service was exceptional from the host!! Wishes were fulfilled and even exceeded! Only one had a birthday, but the whole party was noticed and surprised! We had a really good time. The views from the balcony are beautiful and the location near the beach and services was really good. We had a party of 4, so the balconies next to each other were convenient. We also shared a common kitchen. The second room had a bathroom in the room, but no fridge. The other has a private bathroom in the corridor, but a small own fridge. The terrace on the first floor was available for dining. We enjoyed our breakfast (bakery and shop really close) twice on our own balcony and twice on the lower terrace next to the shared kitchen.

The room was comfortable and clean. The balcony offered a beautiful view of the town. Everyone was very friendly and helpful Definitely recommend staying in Cavtat in order to visit Dubrovnik, only 40mins by boat or bus.

Exceptional

Already want to go back! Toni and his family are the best hosts, they are extremely nice people and are very helpful and hospitable. They welcomed us warmly with cold beer and helped us with many things. Excellent location, fantastic beaches nearby, lots of places to eat and enjoy walking, good air conditioning and pretty terrace. If you want to feel like home this is a place you are looking for :)

Views over quaint village

Fantastic location a short stroll to bakery and restaurants. So happy I stayed here and not Dubrovnik. Just a completely different vibe. Beautiful view of the quaint village.

Beautiful stay in comfortable room with amazing view - I will 100% return.

The location is incredible! Just a minute walk from the center of the town. The balcony offers an unbeatable view of the bay. The room is clean, large and spacious. The bed is very comfortable. I work remote and was able to comfortably work on a desk inside the room and at the table on the balcony. The apartment is very clean and neat. To top it all off, the host was so kind and helpful.

Superb

Host was very friendly and supportive trying to fulfil all our wishes (thank you). Location itself is perfect, just a minute to the center/port/bus. All needed facilities (ATM, bank, post, shop, bar) around. Public transport to Dubrovnik available every hour. We were allowed for early check in/out what helped a lot.

Disappointing propietor

Cavtat itself was lovely

I had a genuine medical emergency at home and had to leave at the starr of my stay. The proprietor made sympatgetic noises about refunding my charges and in short was not open and honest with me. He put tge blame on Booking.Com for no refund and they blamed him for no refund. In short neither party honoured their implied promises. I am disgusted with Tony who was not direct or honest in his dealings with me. Consequently by being as he was he has lost a potential return customer.
