OK for one night

We booked this hotel for New Year’s Eve, since most hotels in Dubai were fully booked. For one night it was OK, but guys please stop calling it 5* hotel!! That’s really embarrassing! This place is not even 2*!!

Wonderful Hotel, well located. Outstanding Service. Helpful and professional staff. Comfortable and cozy rooms. Any request was addressed quickly and professionally. The spa service was good.

Breakfast hours should be revised (6:30 - 10:30). In my opinion, breakfast should open at 6:00 (so that those who leave the hotel early don't miss out). Likewise, especially on Saturdays and Sundays, breakfast should be extended until 11:00 so that guests don't have to rush. (Unfortunately, due to the timetable, I missed two of the four breakfasts I paid for.)

Ideal for a Dubai Weekend Getaway

The hotel is very well located and you can access the Marina by foot. We got upgraded and the room was absolutely gigantic. Good price.

The decoration of the room is a little sad and outdated. The gym is a little outdated as well but functional. This hotel is nice and convenient if you want a short Dubai trip - it is however not the wow effect of other luxurious hotels.

Not a bad option provided the price is low

The staff is amazingly welcoming and helpful and the location of the hotel is good too.

The room is nice but some how I don't like the green colour theme and layout although I am in a deluxe suit. On the other hand the room leave a lot to be desired. There are not enough plugs in the bedroom or living room. And not even near the bedroom dresser. Also there is no mirror in the room or even in the dressing. The only mirror 🪞 available is in the bathroom but there are no plugs for the hairdryer near it. Only a shaver plug. Also the bathroom is huge but the toilet seat and bidet are squeezed very close to each other and the toilet seat is very close to the wall. In general the bathroom is huge but mostly empty area and even the bathtub 🛀 is very squeezed. In the living area there is too much furniture, 2 triple seat sofa and one double seat sofa. Too much for such a room. The sofa springs are worn out and are too soft and need a refit. There is a kettle and a coffee machine in the living area but both share the same plug so you have to plug and unplug all the time to switch between the 2. In general the hotel is good but need a face-lift for the rooms to place the hotel where it belongs.

Need a refurbishment

The rate it was good, I was in suite the it was really old style and need new furniture. I had a lunch but the waiters they didn’t make any mistake but they worked bad, they left me even 5-10mins alone without possibility to ask a second drink or something else

Excellent treatment and very generous service. They offered my family a free upgrade, and because it was my daughter’s birthday, they even surprised her with a cake. The reception staff were all very helpful, and the hotel provides 24-hour room service with skilled chefs. Breakfast was fabulous—great variety and quality. A truly thoughtful and welcoming experience overall.

Good deal in Dubai Marina

The location was very convenient. Got an upgrade which was a delight, and the room was absolutely amazing! It had everything you need for a stay and more. Comfortable bed, AC system running perfectly both in bedroom and living room zone.

Didn’t like one porter’s attitude, too pushy. One of the receptionists had some issues speaking English but the good will was there

Their dedication to ensuring we had an exceptional experience was remarkable, and it made all the difference. A special mention goes to Mr. Roy, the manager, who was always available and incredibly helpful, making sure that everything ran smoothly and that we had everything we needed. It’s clear that the team at Stella Di Mare truly cares about their guests and takes pride in providing top-tier service. The hotel itself is fantastic – beautiful views, comfortable rooms, and a great location near the marina. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubai. Excellent value for Money

The food was really good, a great variety. The hotel was spotlessly clean and most of the staff were incredibly helpful. Easy location for the Marina and the DMCC station.

My wife had a headband which had build in headphones in that she uses to sleep. It was taken during a room clean. It may have just been swept up with the laundry, as she has a tendency to leave it on the bed. However, the staff inspected the room as if we had stolen it and were not very helpful in trying to retrieve it. That was disappointing.

The room was perfect - we had sea view and it was amazing! Food was various and very high quality, like in best restaurants. I advise to do half board, you will not regret those dinners. Very helpful stuff. Location close to the beach on foot

The room was nice and comfortable. There was a good view of the marina. The concierge staff were very friendly.

The check in was very slow, we waited 25 mins before being able to check-in. The evening of our last night we called reception to enquire about possibly checking out late and after 20 minutes waiting for an answer we were told to call in the morning. Called again in the morning and were told they'd call us back but never did so an hour later we called and were told it wasn't possible.

The service of the hotel is satisfactory and the location is great.

1. The breakfast was very good, many kinds of food，and were changed veryday. They have two big areas for you to enjoy the food. 2. Ms Janet who was in the reception， she helped us a lot. We thank her for her professional services. She gave us a room in 26 floor, it was very quite. 3. The room attendant - Ms Sandra , She cleaned the room carefully during the 4 days we spent in the hotel, that was great. 4. Metro station"DMCC" was near the hotel, it was for about 10 minutes on walk. So, if you took bus to DUBAI from ABU DHABI , it was just two stations from the station "Ibn Battuta" to the hotel, it was very convenient. 5. The hotel provided Shuttle bus to the " JBR Beach" and " Mall of Marina". We took the Shuttle bus at 4 and 6pm. 6. The swimming pool and SPA were good enough for us . 7. The hotel is near the Marina, the view is great, and after dinner we can walk along the river , we love it.

GYM is a little small. But there is a big GYM which is named "The Marina Gym" near the hotel , 50 ADE for a day, 150 ADE for a week.

Excellent value hotel

I received a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was massive and had views in 3 directions. The room was spotless, the king bed was comfortable, and the price was very reasonable (I paid less than half the rack price).

The breakfast buffet was OK, but not very inspired. I expected a bit more variety.
