It was a most agreeable, peaceful short stay.

Very good continental breakfast. The coffee was not hot the first time, but when we pointed this out we were given really hot cups of it. Service very friendly. The situation could hardly be better - two minutes walk from the grand and picturesque chateau and chapel of Usse.

Nothing! Everything was up to or exceeded our expectations, reception was friendly and immediate, the rooms are ingeniously designed with excellent ensuite facilities. The hotel has its own restaurant where we had an excellent dinner.

A lovely old hotel a stone's throw away from the Château d'Ussé castle, straight out of Disney movie

The property is a short walk away from the picturesque Château d'Ussé castle. The vicinity of the hotel is lovely to walk around. The hotel itself is located in an old but well maintained building, so it's an old style hotel - the benefits are that the rooms are huge and comfy. Yet the amenities are at a good level. The staff were friendly too.

Enjoyable 2 night stay. Chateau was lovely to visit and the food at the hotel was very good, the owner is very charming

Proximity to Ch. Usse and Chinon. The staff and food were both very good.

The room we had was fine but when we saw the room you are showing in the picture above it was lacking somewhat. The bathroom definitely could do with an update as the shower had to be hand held.

Lady in charge- wonderful. Helpful, considerate of our needs because we don’t speak French. Lovely room & surroundings .Breakfast was very good, although lacking with fresh baguettes. Supplied lovely cheeses for our breakfast .

We liked everything, the location was perfect, we are cycling the EuroVelo 6, our room was very comfortable, the windows opened which we like. We had a wonderful vegetarian dinner and breakfast could not have been better. The Owner, hostess and cook-all the same person was amazing. Very warm and friendly and spoke very good English which helped us out wonderfully!

A great room in a great location.

The hostess was more than super. When we arrived she knew that it was us (we were on bikes). Talking with her was enjoyable. She is very nice.

The neighbor across the street rubs her TV well into the night, and again in the morning, so with our windows open for ventilation we could hear that. Not super loud, but audible background sounds. It would be better if she didn't use the chateau as the first picture of the place. Use a picture of the actual hotel. It is handsome.

Superb

Wonderful little hotel in a quaint village. The owner is welcoming and very helpful. We stopped here for the night as we cycled along the Loire. Would definitely recommend!

Unfortunately their restaurant is closed for now. But hopefully it will open again in the near future.
