The breakfast was fantastic and the welcome from Gavin and Lori was wonderful. This is a gem of a small hotel. Sadly Le Lude is a little disappointing as a village. Many shops are closed. The food options were not of a great standard. We would recommend this hotel to anyone in the Loire Valley.

Gavin and Lori are delightful hosts. We stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the room we had. Plenty of room and a great bathroom. Le Lude is a sweet place and the chateau really charming. Beautiful views from the chateau gardens across the river.

From our initial booking to our departure, we could not asked for anything else. Gavin and Lori are wonderful, kind and helpful hosts. Their standards are extremely high, their property is immaculate and professionally run, the gorgeous breakfast was in abundance and we came away feeling thoroughly spoilt. Thank you for everything.

everything & it’s a going concern that is for sale so go & check it out - it’s beautiful inside and out. Laurie & Gavin are fantastic owners who really look after you - we had drinks by the pool and lovely breakfast in the grand dining room.
