What a wonderful stay we had! Sad that we didn’t spend more time as really was a quick stop! I rung ahead and explained we were going to be a little late for check in (we were driving back to the UK from Spain) they couldn’t have been more helpful! Lovely people, the most beautiful room (almost like a small apartment!) We had the family room which had 2 double beds and a single - for our family of 5 it was perfect! No doubt I would stay here again! Highly recommend!

My 2 children wife and I had a fantastic stay here. Lovely lawns for the kids to run around and explore and lovely buildings to admire! Comfortable beds and rooms and great breakfast with fresh warm croissants and a selection of meat eggs cereal and yoghurt. Short drive into Chinon for dinner plenty of chose to have! Great stay

The room was off a Vera Dee and was the twin we booked; it was spacious with a seating area plus a table and chairs, a bathroom with separate toilet and a walk in wardrobe.The staff were charming and helpful providing whatever was needed. The breakfasts were very good and in the French style-. We also enjoyed their restaurant which used all local produce. Both of us would be delighted to visit this hotel again.

This is like a mini-chateau with lots of character and charm. Breakfast under the trees was magical and the owners were very helpful even carrying our luggage up two flights of stairs. It is perfectly located for exploring Langeais, Ussé, Azay-le-Rideau and Chinon.

If you are looking for a base for lots of cycling rather than a cycling holiday from place to place this is a great location. The hotel is fairly basic with the facilities but has bike parking that seem fairly safe even for more fancy bikes. Designated bike paths outside your front door and you can choose between flat along the river or some nice hills up and down from the river valley and beyond. The roads are generally very good and car drivers very considerate for cyclist.

We really enjoyed our stay at Le Manoir. We had a suite so the room was very comfortable and well decorated. The bathroom was huge with bath/shower. Staff were very nice and welcoming. I would suggest having dinner and breakfast there as well. A nice touch to have Michelin guide for the Loire Valley in the room to read. Beautiful area to take a walk nearby and a short drive to Chinon.
