The cottage was as good as it looked on the photos but we didn't actually get to meet the hosts. This was fine, but it would have been nice to say hello. The food items on arrival were a lovely touch too.
The kitchen was a bit worn in places and it could done with a slimline dishwasher, if there's room, and the bathroom mirror was beautiful but too high up, so we had to stand on tiptoes to see our faces!

Lou was a fantastic host, she was very responsive and flexible with our arrival and leaving times. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and the setting was gorgeous. The extra touches of bread, butter and milk were very much appreciated too ;-)

Lovely and quiet in the middle of nowhere, just pheasants, herons, woodpeckers for company. Comfortable large bed with nice linen. Warm.
