Lovely and quiet in the middle of nowhere, just pheasants, herons, woodpeckers for company. Comfortable large bed with nice linen. Warm.

Beautiful, charming red brick cottage in the rolling countryside of Cheshire. Just felt very well built and decorated. Quality furniture (sofa could be higher or fabric). Great modern bathroom with powerful shower and heated towel rail. 2 spacious double bedrooms with very comfortable mattresses. Peace and quiet was very much needed and appreciated.
It’s definitely remote so you need to plan your meals and do your food shopping ahead of time if you’re staying in but that’s fine and also the point. Sofa was a little low for lounging on. Kitchen had most things - could do with an air fryer and Nespresso coffee machine - I brought the wrong pods so we made do with instant. Hot water tap in sink is almost too hot!

Lovely peaceful location. The house was very comfortable. The bread butter and milk was nice to find in the fridge. Lots of information in the welcome pack.
We would have liked the towels to have been a little bigger. Apart from that all was good.
