Superb location with an easy walk into Ambleside. Property was warm, very clean, well equipped and spacious. Entrance porch is great for taking off boots and drying dogs. Mats and umbrellas provided also!

The only issue we had was finding a grass area anywhere near the property for our dogs to relieve themselves. A bit of a trek to find some!!

The cottage was well appointed

Both mattresses were of very poor quality The single mattress was replaced during the stay. The double mattress needs to be replaced by one of a similar quality to the single one as a matter of urgency.
