Acorn

Apartment was just what you needed for a break away. The hot tub and the views was the highlight. Everything was spotless and loved that you could park right outside.

Could do with a better pole to open velux blinds. Only the spiders, but you can't help that being in a gorgeous location. Could do with an actual pin in Google Maps of where they are, but directions easy to follow.

The cottage sits right on the edge of the estate allowing for a great view of the fields and rolling hills. The hot tub is well maintained and the property was clean when we finally got checked in... Acts as the perfect little base for a short lake district trip!

There was an issue with the check in where the property had not been cleaned and prepared for our arrival. We were able to contact the hosts who were very apologetic and explained it was a one-off issue. They allowed us to relax in the main house with a bottle of prosecco whilst a cleaner came and prepared the property.

Fantastic location the Acorn cottage was very comfortable. We'll equipped with the essentials. The hot tub plus amazing views where the icing on the cake 😍.

Having to go back home 😀. I wanted to stay there longer.

The location and the views were stunning.

The 3 skylight handles were all broken. Extremely hot in cottage. Maintenence advised these couldn't be fixed but he would open the sky lights and he said he hopes it doesn't rain as they would leak. The vent fan in the kitchen made an awful loud noise. There was a broken light fitting in the living room. There was also a stain on the sofa. Attempted to contact the building manager and no one has contacted us back. Dissatisfied with the communication from the cottage owners.
