High View Lodge

It was perfect, very homely, had everything we needed, quiet, comfortable and very spacious, right in the corner no noisy neighbours,no road noise, nothing, just birds tweeting and silence.

Everything. The location is perfect. Only a few minutes drive from Ambleside and Windermere. The lodge was so peaceful. The lodge itself was clean and tidy, with more facilities than I could imagine, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, oven.

Nothing. It was all excellent.

Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was incredibly clean, neat, and cozy. Honestly, it looks even better in person than in the pictures. Highly recommend!

Nothing

The lodge was lovely, and it was in a good position tucked away so was quiet, , there was no wi fi which was a problem for the kids and their tech but all in all well equipped

Right here we go, two of the family went paddle boarding on the lake the first day, and ended up with sickness and diarrhea all night, so we spent the whole day in the launderette ( only 2 machines, which were very busy ) cleaning the bedding as the washing machine didn't work in the lodge, the staff were not interested in helping and were very dismissive , there wasn't any signs warning us about the lake. But lots of people told us this was quite a usual occurrence, it spoilt the holiday so please be aware of the lake as we don't want this to happen to other people
