A great stay - a fab property
Gorgeous property - so homely and well looked after; very impressive; lovely views, lots of space; great location.
There was a bit of a drainy smell from the bathroom but helped when being aired. TV / Internet signal not always great

Beware of the lake
The lodge was lovely, and it was in a good position tucked away so was quiet, , there was no wi fi which was a problem for the kids and their tech but all in all well equipped
Right here we go, two of the family went paddle boarding on the lake the first day, and ended up with sickness and diarrhea all night, so we spent the whole day in the launderette ( only 2 machines, which were very busy ) cleaning the bedding as the washing machine didn't work in the lodge, the staff were not interested in helping and were very dismissive , there wasn't any signs warning us about the lake. But lots of people told us this was quite a usual occurrence, it spoilt the holiday so please be aware of the lake as we don't want this to happen to other people

Nice little break away
Lodge was clean and comfortable. At the end of the row, so was quiet. Kitchen was well laid out. Holiday Park was well located for walks and travelling round the lake.
No mention that we couldn't use the pool and gym facilities without paying extra. Was the main reason I picked the lodge in the first place. WiFi was non existent.

The lake view was obscured by trees - but the shore is only a short walk away so not a big problem. Wifi performance was patchy but 4G was always available.
