Was a fabulous getaway for my birthday , thankyou

It was lovely , spacious , cosy ,everything you needed including the hot tub Was lovely to get away for a special birthday celebration.

Nothing not to like , good location onsite and near to get to other places in the lakes .

Had a very nice time, cabin is well located for other locations.

Everyone had their own room

Parking wasn’t clearly defined, cabin next to us had two cars resulting in the allocated space being tight for access and exiting.

Maybe, better luck on another visit!

The property is well situated with comfortable bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. The hot tub is a lovely addition which we enjoyed. The lakeside is very close for paddle boarding etc which we took advantage of. The decking areas are fantastic for enjoying sunny days. Locally, the property is well positioned for neighbouring Ambleside and Windermere- bus routes are just outside main entrance.

The site lost its power due to a localised electrical failure which meant the WiFi didn’t return for the duration of our stay. There was an issue with the boiler which meant the kitchen was close to flooding and had to be tended to by filling buckets until it had emptied. There was no onsite emergency tradesman to support in this matter which impacted on our last evening.

Brilliant property great facilities very close to Windermere

Everything about the property was high quality and there has been a lot of attention to detail

It wasn’t the property as such but maybe put a mini map to the lodge in your pictures or send after someone books the staff were rude as soon as they noted we were private they wouldn’t help even with directions, “oh I can’t help you you are private” or point us in the right direction

Lovely location but let down by cleanliness of the lodge.

Location and the setting were very pleasant as were the on site facilities.

The cleanliness was somewhat lacking. The floors didn’t appear to have been swept, mopped or vacuumed, the kitchen units were greasy, as was the fireplace front and the hot tub was grimy and had fallen bits of trees in.

Very good apart from the pool situation.

The property was excellent everything you could need in the lodge.

There was nothing wrong with the property however not having the use of the pool on the site unless you paid £13.50 per person was a massive let down for us as we had two children with us so £67 extra on top of what we paid for the lodge was a bit excessive the cost of using the pool on the site should be included in the price of the lodge or some kind of discount code to use.

We enjoyed the location of the lodge and enjoyed exploring neighbouring towns

We loved the hot tub and loved having all the necessary kitchen items for cooking our own breakfasts and meals, the hot tub was hot and ready for us when we arrived so we had a relaxing start to our stay after a long day traveling

The lodge could have done with an extra dust and clean of the sheets there was a few hairs on top of the beds and sinks but nothing major, the hot tub seemed to shut off every now and again

excellent and would definitely retun!

very well equipped. great location. hot tub was fantastic especially as the snow was coming down. beds are extremely comfortable and the lodge was very clean.

Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss but nothing down to the owners.
