Well appointed accommodation and clean with an excellent shower, excellent location for touring the lakes. Because the accommodation is in a town house style the bedroom can get pretty hot but forward thinkers put a couple of extractors in the ceiling to reduce that, thoughtful touch.
Nothing can be done about this but road noise is an issue if window's are open at the rear. The mattress was too hard for my personal taste. The courtyard is a haven for jackdaws and can get a bit boisterous and noisy especially early mornings and evenings, but then again jackdaws are better than magpies! No recycling.

Good location, short car ride to Grange-over -Sands. Easy to get in the Southern lake towns and villages.
Well equipped kitchen, great shower, comfy beds. It was quiet even though a road is outside. Good heating.
There were just a few small things, the property did appear clean. There were a few things such as food and crumbs left in the grill, something had spilled in the freezer and dripped - we cleaned these up. When we did our last check around under to make sure we hadn’t forgotten anything and looked under the sofa (which is on four legs - I don’t mean we moved or lifted it !) it was very dusty and had other peoples rubbish under there.
It would have been nice to have some handwash in the bathroom - it’s the first place we have stayed that didn’t.

All fine.

Location
Felt a bit grubby, needed a deep clean. For example, the table mats were stained, table cloth sticky, shower grout mouldy. It’s just the little things that make a difference. Seating in the lounge uncomfortable for adults. Needs updating.
The arrival and departure times were not very accommodating and if I’d have thought about it properly before booking I wouldn’t have booked it!

Secluded / private and secure.
Cosy living area
Balcony from living room a nice touch
Powerful shower
Sleeps 4 adults however living space limited (maybe a second sofa would be ideal)
Several cutlery items missing
Felt a household welcome pack would be a great addition ie: washing up liquid etc
Check in time 5pm a little late compared to other properties
Although an old barn conversion, lots of cobwebs/spiders on arrival

Lovely converted space to provide the users all that they need. Very comfortable place, good decor and a lovely hot shower Great location for the surrounding area.
Could do with a better mattress.

Perfect location for the Lakes, beautiful property, well maintained, tastefully furnished and clean. Wi-Fi for the family too so everyone was happy.
Staircase extremely squeaky, everyone knew when someone was going to the toilet in the night. Only being allowed in at 5pm on day of arrival, then being expected to leave by 9am on departure day, was somewhat extreme and made the final day extremely rushed.

Surroundings good, very quiet, good clean standards throughout.
Double bed was uncomfortable. Could do with more saucepans

location was handy for Grangeover sands, drive took a bit of finding and parking quite tight. Cottage nice on three floors with a balcony on second floor which was great to sit out in the sun. Power shower was good. Good TV, books, games, dvd, music centre all supplied (though not used).
Hob was not working and despite calls and emails wasnt fixed for the rest of our holiday made life really awkward as we have special dietary requirements - hence self catering. No Mobile phone signal. Moth problem and spiders in bedrooms. No can opener and only two saucepans which turned out to be irrelevant anyway- irritating as otherwise well supplied kitchen?

Great location and good privacy.
Spiral stairs a little awkward if carrying anything downstairs

The facilities were excellent, we were able to completely self-cater which was what we wanted. Everywhere was clean and the cottage was beautiful.
