Dependance Ost

The location was good only a km or so from Interlaken West train station. The staff were friendly and greeted us upon arrival and took us through the apartment and how to use appliances which was nice of them. It was a nice clean and spacious apartment. You could see the mountains from the windows in the living area. Was nice to be able to wash clothes and not have to go out to eat. The building is close to the road and there is a bit of traffic on the road but that didn’t bother us.

We were on the ground floor and given it’s an old building you hear everything above you. Not good especially when the people above you are awake late into the night/ early morning. Just something to keep in mind if you are a light sleeper / early to bed person. The bed was a bit too firm and pillows were not great, kept getting sore neck and shoulders. The small fan provided in the bedroom didn’t cut it and was sweating at night. This would be ok if not in the peak of summer.

The apartment was fabulous, clean, quiet and well equipped. The location was super. The host met us when we arrived and explained everything about the apartment and the surrounding areas, including things to do and best ways to get around - which was really helpful.

I didn't have any complaints

The apartment was lovely, great location and facilities, bus stops directly in front of apartment and very easy to get to places. Host was wonderful, great introduction, provided helpful information and was on hand if needed.

We were there during a hot period in July, 2 fans are provided but one does not work very well. The apartment is adjacent to a busy road and path way (but great view of Jungfrau) leaving the windows open is noisy and we experienced a lot of flys and bugs (there is a vegetable garden in front of the apartment)
