Victoria was so kind and welcoming,the cottage was beautiful,breakfast was lovely ,bed very comfortable,garden was absolutely stunning,we went to a wedding at crockwell farm and Victoria offerd to take us which was so kind of her she even picked our friend up from her b&b up the road . Would definitely stay there again .Thank you so much for all you done Victoria.

Couldn’t fault it

If you like the mod cons don't go here. Book a hotel. If you like a quaint cottage in the country away from it all consider this one. Loved its country charm and would consider again. It would be a suitable base for walks, cycling or exploring the area. You are out of the village. Host cooks breakfast and has things you need for a relaxed stay.

There is no sink, host collect and does washing for you. Shower a bit ordinary. Stairs to bedroom would not suit a mobility impaired person

Breakfast very nice

I liked the owner, she was pleasant enough and cooked me a lovely breakfast each morning and kindly brought me some alternative milk.

I didn't like not being informed enough beforehand. For instance, I struggle with stairs in the middle of the night so having a downstairs toilet was not good. The bed was in the eaves and it was very hard to access without banging my head and I'm only 5ft tall! Also I need a comfy bed and chose this accommodation because it said it had a large bed. This is the most important thing for me as I struggle to sleep due to hip problems. I was very disappointed to find the bed was two singles zipped together, very very uncomfortable and lumpy in the middle so I had to sleep on one side of the bed, and the whole point of my stay was to avoid the single bed situation. The sofa in the living room was only usable if I removed the seat cushions and sat on the frame! Most of the cereals provided were way out of date. Cobwebs everywhere, especially on the stairs and bedroom.
