Lots of space for sitting in communal areas and outside. Nice pool and spa to relax.
Pool changing room areas could be cleaner.

Easy to find, just follow the sat nav. Seemed to be enough parking, even when busy, but it may be a few minutes walk from Reception unless you have mobility problems where parking can be closer. Light, modern, and open facility with many rooms. The corridors to the rooms are clean, spacious, but a confusing maze of passages and room numbering that melt your brain. It was singularly the most unpleasant and confusing route to our room I've ever experienced. Still couldn't find any lift, I don't think one existed, so if you don't want lots of steps, go for ground floor. The reception check-in was efficient, if not brusque. You get an invoice later thrust under your door in the night. It was announced that all the Restaurant tables had been booked out, but there were meals available in the bar. And to be fair, that was enough. The bar is a typical sports bar. Not especially comfortable, and on the noisy side. Food prices were fine for what is was. Ordered the beef burger and it was unexceptional. A burger with a very small basket of fries. We did not book for breakfast, though you are warned that booking was preferred and it would cost more if you just came down in the morning for it. This seems to be how it works these days which obvious makes sense food economy wise, but sometimes when away you want to be spontaneous. Why it should cost you more feels like a quick cash grab.
Very frustrating trying to understand the room numbering layout of the complex. We were on the first floor, but seemingly in a section only accessible by walking through the entire ground floor and accessing via stairs at the rear. Maybe that's because we booked the 'cheap seats' via Booking.com It took a good 20 mins dragging our luggage up and down corridors. The room was spacious. Window view was poor, a good view of the corner of the building and a bit of lawn. It is going for luxury feel, but really it's just standard with some more tasteful decor, a swivel office chair and a desk fan. The TV is small and fitted into some strange wall mounted unit with ugly wiring and chipped paint. Maybe some kind of inbuild system designed so the TV couldn't be pinched. Bathroom was a bath/shower. The taps on the shower were extremely hard to turn off which posed some problems. Not a bad nights sleep, but we really felt exhausted at the prospect of navigating those corridors once more, before eventually emerging into the foyer. The main bar doesn't open until 12pm, so if you don't have breakfast you have to stay in your room or go off site. Not the worst stay I've had, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back to this one. Did not use the leisure facilities as it was just a quick stopover for bed and a meal, but out of the rat race of nearby towns and cities.
