The room was ok, bathroom was a bit tired, 1990's tile frieze, mouldy ceiling, I would have expected a coffee machine for the star rating & price. The ladies at breakfast were lovely, very hospitable & friendly. It is a good location for work, I visit our Northampton operation once a month so this hotel would have been perfect but I wouldn't stay here again.

Food on offer for dinner was awful, Junk, processed, bar food, not everyone eats fast food. There was nothing vegan & gluten free & I don't want to sit in the bar area to eat my dinner. I travel for work every week & pretty much everywhere I go, they have a chickpea curry or a bean chilli. I ordered a glass of wine to have with my dinner that I never managed to order, cut my tongue on either the wine glass or something in the wine. No first aid was offered, no accident book entry, no real empathy from anyone. I had to go to my room & call for a duty manager to get a first aider & supplies to hygienically stop the bleeding. When I spoke to the food & beverage manager about the lack of 1st aid, all she said was she checked my glass & it wasn't cracked, right, so I cut my tongue on nothing? Then when I spoke to her about it she said, well you went to your room' Of course I did, I had blood coming out of a cut on my tongue, I needed to see it & stem the bleed. I had no dinner & what should have been a relaxing evening was unnecessarily stressful & badly managed, honestly, if I wasn't so far from home I would have driven home that night.

The hotel staff were welcoming and the overall presentation of the hotel was lovely. Hotel staff and management went over and above to help with an issue with my car, and Maintenance Operative kindly assisted with my car issue.

My only critique is information surrounding the swimming pool. At arrival received limited information on the swimming pool open/close times. Although it was known I was travelling with my son, 7 yo, I wasn’t told that the swimming finished at 6pm. Unfortunately we missed the opportunity to swim the first night.

Signage from room was dreadful took me 15 min to find room and again to get back to reception don’t think I went the same way twice.

Nice gym and pool…. Large lounge area

No in room tea/coffee … some usb connections damaged/ missing … could do with a few more bar staff at busy times 🤦‍♂️

Noise - the rooms are poorly soundproofed. I was kept awake until 1am due to person next door on the phone. I could hear everything, word for word. Not conducive for a full days work the following day. Very diss appointed and would put me off staying again. Over priced food in bar area.

My stay and service was satisfactory.

Honestly the service was good and can just say keep up the good work.

The main feature was the staff, who were all very helpful and friendly. I found the beds exceptionally comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious. The shower was particularly good as well. We also found the bar and reception area, very comfortable and the music soothing. This was very important to us, as we had just suffered a close family bereavement.

The hotel is starting to look a bit tired, the reception button on the telephone didn't work, so I had to walk to reception in the early hours of the morning and room 284 had a flickering light over the toilet. But these were minor points.

The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Dinner and breakfast were tasty with lots of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and leisure facilities looked lovely, but sadly we didn't have the time to make use of them.

The hotel was very empty, probably due to the foul weather. This was nobody's fault but meant the public areas were lacking a bit in atmosphere. For example, we sat alone in the dining room for dinner and there was only one other guest at breakfast. Having said that, as a result we got excellent attention from the friendly staff.

Breakfast wasn't the best, bacon was dry, hash browns anaemic and tomatoes not cooked.

Breakfast was awesome the chef Kenny simply amazing and made us feel at home brillant and the servers best servers so by far

The bedroom was on point.

Reception staff professional, helpful and friendly. Noticed I was Accor member and upgraded room. Room spacious and comfortable. Resturant staff good. Pleasing breakfast with, clearly displayed, gluten free options. Tables cleared very promptly.

Was told to cart the luggage cart ourselves no offer of help even. Though staff saw we had a lot of luggage and a baby no ac lighting was not the greatest and the mattress was springy

Staff were very friendly, room was clean and the bed was so comfortable, had a really good nights sleep

The walk from the car park to the hotel has quite a few pot holes and uneven surfaces which could do with some repair before someone falls and injures themselves

Lovely atmosphere even though it was busy. Staff are friendly and efficient. Evening meal 🥘 n the bar and breakfast were very good.
