You will love the nostalgia at the Seawoods Dream where comfort and fun are top priorities.

Located on a pristine beach that stretches for miles, you will find plenty to explore. The beach access is a short walk away. On the beach, walk north toward the mouth of the Alsea River and hunt for the perfect piece of driftwood. Head south on the sand and you can walk for miles (eight to be exact)! Not ready to turn around? Continue up the steps and onto the famed 804 walking trail which takes you along the rocky basalt tide pools and into the town of Yachats where you can enjoy a great meal and an ocean view. Come home and enjoy a long soak in the sunken hot tub nestled among the shore pines. You will find a well appointed kitchen in an open floor plan that is sunny and fun. Down the hall are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and a peak in to the garage will surprise you because it's a bonus space to play and enjoy.

Sleeps up to 6 - 3 Bedrooms, 2 King (one King can be split into 2 Twin beds with 72 hour advance notice), 1 Queen and 1 Sleeper Sofa; 2 Bath.

The area is wonderful and the house is very lovely. The beds were all super comfy and we had a nice (not phenomenal) view of the ocean. As much as I wanted to give this a five star review, I do have to say there are some things that took away from our stay. - The house only had two wine glasses total, we didn’t think wine glasses were something we would need to bring- The hot tub is not as private as you’d be led to think, the neighbors have a spectacular view of you and your friends/family soaking in it (and no view of the ocean from it) - The TVs, while nice that they include cable channels, do not have any app connectivity that we found. So any streaming service you wanted to use will be only usable on your personal devices, unless you bring a laptop and HDMI cord- All of that I could get around and maybe leave a four or even five star review still, however when “beach access” is touted you would expect easy access. However, the directions given to us lead us to a path where the stairs have clearly been gone for years (a local confirmed this), making the beach inaccessible from that route. A local was kind enough to show us another route to the beach, but if we didn’t have that as a surprise save of the day, we might not have found a path ourselves. Please know the area and update your guide maps accordingly, SweetHomes! Unfortunately. I left this rental feeling like it was not worth the money we spent on it and we will not be returning in the future.

Our overall stay was great. I found the post to be a little misleading. The hot is on the front deck. You can’t see much of the ocean. If they could cut the hedge down about 6” you would be able to see out the sliding glass door better. There are no rugs at the doors. To clean your feet off. Having said all of that we had a fun stay.

House was clean, and kitchen included all the necessary items. As others have mentioned the ocean view was impacted by the bushes off the back deck. We enjoyed the hot tub and quiet area of the neighborhood.

My family of four and I loved our long weekend at this beach house. The interior of the home was well stocked with towels, linens, kitchen utensils. The beds were very comfortable. Appliances and fixtures were all very to use. The hot tub was very clean and the water was hot when we arrived. The host provided a map of the walking path to the beach which came in handy. It takes about 5 minutes to walk and there's no need to cross any busy streets. I would definitely consider staying here again.

We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the property, as well as how nicely appointed it is. The hot tub was clean and lovely for relaxing, and you can hear the ocean so well. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean and with good functioning equipment. The customer service was quick and efficient for a need we brought to their attention upon arrival, even after hours. The best part was how light and bright it is - the west facing windows and skylights are perfect. Waldport is one of our favorite Oregon coastal towns, and this house helped make our return to Waldport a wonderful experience.

My kids loved playing with the blocks and scooter in the closet of one of the bedrooms. The beach access was an adventure to find, but that was also fun for my kids. Definitely, do not go to the beach access if you are handicap. There are skinny boards and steps that you need to balance on to get there. The beach in low tide was so cool! The river was meeting the ocean and made a lot of sand islands to play on.

Overall had a great stay. We were a little bummed to get the call that the hot tub might not be working for our trip, but the property manager was able to get maintenance to the house and it was fixed before our arrival - delightful surprise to arrive to. Easy check in process. The only suggestion I would have is to include driving directions (including distances) once you leave the highway AND how to get to the beach access - we had to wonder our way to the access and I'm not entirely sure the path we were on was trespassing or not. :-/ (totally on us, not the property owner). Overall, great stay!

Such a nice home. We felt the kitchen was well stocked. Loved the walk to the beach. It is a bit of a trek if someone was not able bodied but a leisurely stroll for us. The beach views were great and it was just a cozy house with comfortable beds!

Great location! Loved the house! Worked well for us and our pups! So homey and cozy feeling inside, loved the fire place in the evenings! Hot tub was phenomenal morning and night! Absolutely loved the natural lighting in the second bathroom during the day! Beware the first night we did see a bear on the property coming home around 8 and over on neighboring properties afterwards. Keep dogs on watch while outside at night! Now for the down falls.. just an FYI the shrubs will be blocking a good portion of the view from the back deck and from what we now understand are not on the property therefore can’t be trimmed down, the back deck is smaller then originally thought and there is no back yard. The path to get down to the water is tricky to find at first but with the help of the map on the tablet provided and the help of google earth it was an easy find. The windowsills were dirty, trash was half full upon arrival (not a huge deal, just more annoying), a window in the master bedroom was missing a handle and was unable to open, could use some new beds, slightly uncomfortable, the shower heads are not meant for anyone over 5’6.

Nice roomy house, clean and well kept. Posting was a bit misleading about the location of the hot tub (it’s right on the front deck). No fenced in yard for dogs, but those are rare on the coast anyway. Had a very nice stay here, would stay again.

Property dated, walls plastered (no sanding or paint), carpets stained, worn and tattered. Don’t look under furniture. Overgrown bushes with only peekaboo view of ocean. Bathrooms badly require renovation, leaking valve on washer. Won’t be back, not worth the price.

We had a great time in the Waldport area. The home is in a good location and proximity to the beach was great! The people were all so nice and helpful. The home is well used. Has all the amenities a home on the beach. The view was obstructed by large shrubs and evidence of use from other not so respective tenants was visible.

We had a lovely week at this home. Views are great and beds comfy. It is pretty minimal in amenities and extras: two kitchen towels, only salt and pepper, a couple good pans, but just not a huge selection in the kitchen. Locks on the doors don’t really work. And the electrical is quite interesting. We really did enjoy ourselves, but probably won’t be back to this house.

The whole process was relatively easy. However, there were some things that should be addressed. There are squirrels in the roof that chew incessantly and make it hard to relax. There were pine needles in two rooms, That I’m guessing, we’re from the squirrels in the roof. Things were not clean as they should have been, during a pandemic. The beach was not as easily accessible, as it was sold on the website. We had friends with us, that we’re unable to go to the beach, because of the location. There was dust and hair on all of the heaters, under the couch was dirty, the blind fell down when we tried to open it and the kitchen table was gross. We disinfected everything upon arrival, as two of us are immune compromised. We wouldn’t stay there again, unless they cleaned better and fixed the squirrel issue.

We enjoyed a family reunion/vacation at this property. We loved that we could bring our furry children as well. Everyone enjoyed the beach and we had great weather. The path to the beach once we found it was charming. The neighbors that surrounded this property were very friendly. compared to other houses we have stayed in there were plenty of towels, supplies and the kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed.

The house did not appear to have been cleaned when we arrived. The floors and walls were dirty, the carpet was stained, and there were cobwebs everywhere. The first night there, we heard rodents in the walls all-night and we’re unable to sleep. When we reached out to the property manager, she sent over a vacuum so we could at least keep the floors clean (the one in the house didn’t work). Just after putting the kids to bed, we found mouse poop in all 3 bedrooms (so gross!). Half of the family was too disgusted to stay in the house and packed up to head home. The last family left the next day after cleaning the house. The property manager agreed that we should have our rental fee refunded but the property company asserted that we had stayed 2 days in the house and would only refund us for the remaining 2 days. Sweet Homes Vacation rentals has TERRIBLE customer service and support. We will never be renting from them again!

Nice, clean place managed by Sweet Homes rental company. Different from dealing directly with an owner but good communication and had everything we needed for our short stay. Good location for access to Newport, Seal Rock, Yachats and Cape Perpetua. Beach view and access were not quite what we expected but still very nice. I called the property manager to ask about beach access. They responded quickly with the route, which we would not have found on our own. It's a short walk but not at all obvious. Be sure to ask so you don't wind up on the highway like some other reviewers!

Our initial impression of the property when we arrived was just okay. The home was a bit weathered and even though you can see the beach, you can't get to it unless you walk down the side of a highway. Fast forward a few days, all homes on the Oregon coast are this same way. The owner was awesome to deal with and the home was nice; we would stay again.

This is a clean home with interesting architecture and a nice view of the beach. The beach access is a bit confusing, as we had to wander around a while before we found the path, which is about a five minute walk down the road via a right-of-way marked with a sign (‘To the beach’). It would have been nice to have a map of this at the house. We ke-t feeling like there might be a closer path, but we never found it and walked into several neighbors yard searching. The porch is not great for sitting on, as he railing blocks the view, and there are fewer good places to sit and look at the ocean than we would have liked. The hot tub is great though, and the location is perfect. The beach itself is amazing.

This house really, really grew on us. We walked in and it was lovely but by the end, we were completely in love with the house. The kitchen is small but very well stocked and is an open floorplan so it makes the great room feel larger. The *only* beach view is on one wall of a lot of windows and there is no beach view from any of the bedrooms. The beds were so so so comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the washing machine and dryer (located in one bathroom) were easy to use and clean. We all slept very very well as the house and the surroundings are very quiet. Each room has an individual thermostat, which was lovely. There are 2 paths down to the beach, both of them significantly longer than the write-up led me to believe. But they are both easy enough (though one is steep and the steps at the bottom a little slippery so might be challenging for those not secure on their feet). The hot tub is randomly located right at the front door (no beach view) but it is clean and fun and easy to hop into.There is no real yard (except for a small patch of grass right at the driveway) so if you come with kids and dogs, the main place to play outside is on the beach. The waves / high tide on that beach can be strong and my kids got caught up in a sneaker wave, so do be careful. But similarly, the low tide is breathtaking and magical. One can walk so far out and explore so much. We saw eagles and herons, sealions and much more. It was incredible and my kids loved exploring during low tide.
