The house and area are great. We loved our stay and would book again.

Location, Location, Location. Breathtaking views, View of the ocean while sitting in the hot tub, relaxing after 3 months of 60 hour work days was medicine to my soul. Short day trips to Yachats and Newport. Only negative was grass was not cut. Otherwise, clean and worth every penny.

Very enjoyable time, nice small neighborhood close to town and beautiful views of the beach and ocean.

Clean and well stocked kitchen. Beautiful views and sunsets! Outside decks very slippery in the rain. Overall a great place to stay!

Second time there - we love it!

We come here every few years to de-stress and spend family time. Everything is made very easy for us, from check in to check out. The rules are reasonable, and the managers get back to us right away if we need anything. It is a beautiful home, easy to keep clean, a lovely place to hang out, beautiful view of the beach (love those sunsets!), and about a 3 minute walk from the beach. Highly recommend, but don’t take our “week!” 😉

Beautiful view, comfortable and pleasant accommodations. Amazing sightings of seals, pelicans, and even whales in the distance. A truly delightful stay!

Wonderful location with amazing views and close beach access. Close to restaurants in yachats and waldport. Would like to have a fire pit and there is an opening to a drop off which is not great for having a toddler around. It should be blocked off.

We had a dual family stay at this lovely beach house. As others have stated it’s not an easy space to make meals as the kitchen is tight but we still made it work! The cleanliness I gave a 4 because there was hair on the bathroom floor and dog poop on the lawn when we arrived but otherwise it’s great. I think the restrictions on washing towels and having to pay for others is excessive but overall a great stay!

We enjoyed our Family time, the view was gorgeous, the furniture was comfy and the walk to the beach wasn't too bad...we had a great time!

We checked in after dark and the outside lighting was good and helped while we found the front door and unloaded the car. When we arrived the house was well lit and the tv was on, making for a welcoming entrance. After staying, however, it became very clear that the house was less than moderately cleaned and the property maintenance was severely lacking. We frequent VRBO properties often and found this one to be one of the least clean properties. We arrived to one of the beds we needed to use was completely unmade, only one of the lightbulbs was working in the second bedroom, one light bulb was missing completely. The dust on the tv receivers and under the edges of the couches and under the edges of the bed suggest that cleaning is done quickly or without attention to detail. The supplies in the kitchen were very minimal, enough forks for one and a half meals for our family of 5, though they did have plastic plates, cups and utensils for kiddos which we appreciated. They do look like they need replaced. The stove top was very outdated and stained or burnt on food on the burners. The cabinets are cheap and outdated, and the cooking spray they provided was empty upon arrival. We had enough paper supplies for our family for a week. There was a fan put away in the closet very obviously covered in dust and dirt. And the bottom of the dishwasher was full of food/debris and the filter has maybe never been cleaned. It was absolutely disgusting. We attempted to clean it but the kitchen sink does not have a sprayer or a garbage disposal. The windows upon arrival looking out to the hot tub and the dining room windows had hand prints, food debris and pet slobber on them. I had to clean the windows before my daughter touched them to look outside. It was very apparent cleaning was done to a minimum. Water damage in guest bathroom needs attention. For the plus side, The views of the ocean were great, and the yard is fenced and felt private and secluded and the hot tub was definitely a perk of the property. The beach access was good, though the path is hidden down the street immediately adjacent to someone’s property tucked into some trees. Once through the access gate, and down the stairs, the access to the beach is an immediate drop off of a cliff, so you are required to walk about 1/4 mile down the sand and over driftwood to get to the accessible part of the beach. The location was good. Quiet neighborhood and private street. I would not recommend.

I love this beach house!

Overall the house worked very well for our family. The family really enjoyed the beach. I would have liked to see better cleaning in the small shower. The children really enjoyed the hot tub! It did take the property manager all day to get back to us when the knob fell off the master shower, could have really been an issue if water was leaking. Thanks so much for the memories.

Clean, great view, beautiful location

For the cost of the cleaning fee, there was dirt all throughout the house. Dust bunnies under beds, I got bug bites from bed, closet doors dirty, big picture widows badly streaked, flithy with dried food in mixing bowls, and measuring cups in the cupboard. No pot holders, all heater registers flithy, soot all around the white fireplace. The dishwasher ran for hours, refridgerator leaked puddles of water, i notified office. Tenants are charge a cleaning fee for receiving a spotless home to stay in. Your company is being ripped off for the cleaning service you employ to clean your homes and have hired to do so. It was wonderful to have all of my family together for our family vacation. We drove 8 plus hours to get there, ( we drove into the strong winds and the snowstorm from Ashland to Roseburg). We came as far as Chico, California. I feel I should receive some reinbursed for at least some of the cleaning deposit charge. I left it very clean and picked up before we left your house. A group of 8 friends wanted to have a weekend to hang out, enjoy the good views on the coast, and relax in a cool house with great amenities. This place worked out perfectly! Plenty of living space to hang out and chat or watch TV. A solid kitchen that we used to make breakfast and dinner both nights (plus a grill!). Big dining table that fit everyone. 3 bedrooms, including a HUGE master, that gave everyone a place to crash. And the room with the pool table and TV was perfect for our group as well. The best part though, was the hot tub just off the deck outside the house that had a beautiful view overlooking the beach/ocean. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend for anything from a trip with 2 or 3 couples to a bigger group getaway!

This place continues to be one of our favorite places at the coast. Great house, in a quiet neighborhood. Welcomes dogs which is super sweet. And it’s located near one of the most beautiful stretch of beach.

Very clean, everything that would be needed in the kitchen. Loved the hot tub and ocean view. The only drawback is that beach access is a bit far and on a steep and difficult path.

From the moment you open the gate you enter an enchanting yard and you feel relaxed. This house is well updated but still has tons of charm! Layout is perfect for a family, and the pool table was lots of fun! Beach is just a short walk, and the deck and fenced in yard were fantastic! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home, we hope to come back.

We hadn’t been away since prior to March 2020, it was so nice to get out of town! Home was clean, well situated along coast, and quiet. A good time had by all!

We loved this house! I could tell everything was put together with an eye for detail. I love staying in clean, pretty homes. The beds were comfortable, we loved the ocean view, short walk to the beach, games, books and puzzles, pool table...it was the perfect place to reconnect as a family. We loved Hecceta lighthouse, Thor’s well, Cape Perpetua, the aquarium in Newport, Depot Bay, Hobbit Beach - and our favorite was just taking a walk on our beach. The Bridge over Alsea Bay is beautiful. We saw seals on our walks and my daughter found a beautiful large agate. Our favorite place to eat was Grand Central Pizza and The Chalet. If you want a peaceful getaway in a beautiful place - this is a lovely home to stay at.

I've made many trips to the Oregon coast, I've been down south, and up North. Waldport seemed like the perfect location, a short drive to Depot Bay, Newport, Yachats, Florence. The drive to all these locations is some of the best coastal highway driving in the state. The house was very clean and VERY dog friendly. I loved that the flooring was all laminate. Beach access is very close and a short walk through the beautiful neighborhood. It was very quiet, and the yard was mostly (missing a few fence slats) fenced in and perfect for our dogs. I've stayed in other homes where visitors didn't always pick up after their pets. In this location I didn't see one "dropping" that was not picked up. There was also anything you could need at the local grocery store, the prices were a little more expensive than walmart, but that is to be expected, it was nice that if we needed something it was a short 5 minute drive into town. The only suggestion that I've had in other properties that was missing here were some "dog" towels. It rained a lot and luckily I brought my own towels, but the towels provided were very white (very clean), and I would have hated to use them to dry off my dogs. Overall this was one of our favorite trips to the coast, and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful property!! Amazing views!! We stay a lot on the coast when we visit our daughter and her family in Oregon. This was by far the best place we have stayed at for every reason. Clean, well equipped, comfortable, great home and beautiful views. Will be back again! Thank you!
