Nice and clean, good for the money, just don't expect something fancy

Room was clean and cleaned every day. Close to the beach (max 5 min). Close to tavernas (3-4 at max 15 min of walking) Big parking lots with shadow for some of them Comfy bed Nice terrace Hotel was quite new and had a nice courtyard with green grass

In the bathroom, sometimes water from the sink would flow on the floor to the floor drainage and would make the floor wet. (Maybe the owner will fix this) The immediate neighbourhood is not in the nicest shape (eg: some unfinished buildings), some empty plot of land with weeds (which were mostly cut to be fair)

Nice stay overall – a few details could make it perfect

We had a pleasant stay at this well-located and charming property. With a few thoughtful improvements, it could easily become an exceptional choice for longer stays. Positive aspects: The location is great — perfectly situated between Kassandra and Sithonia, ideal for exploring both areas. The property is new and aesthetically pleasing. Our room was spacious with a large wardrobe, and the little private garden was a lovely touch. The bathroom was modern with good water pressure and a consistently warm shower, which we appreciated. Daily housekeeping was a plus, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing.

What could be improved: Since the property is new, a few small upgrades could make a big difference. The bed wasn't very comfortable for a longer stay — fine for a couple of nights, but not ideal for a full week. Adding some extra shelves to the wardrobe or the wall niche would help guests staying longer. Our garden area was too sunny to enjoy during the day — a simple umbrella would have made it more usable. The kitchen had most essentials, but a few basics like a cutting board, some salt, or a small bottle of oil would be thoughtful additions. In the bathroom, extra storage such as shelves or a cabinet under the sink could make the space more functional. Also, while the bed was made daily, the sheets didn’t seem to be changed during our stay. For longer stays, fresh sheets every few days would be appreciated.

A great stay in a peaceful location

Located in the quiet town of Gerakini, it was perfect location for a low-key escape. I liked having our own kitchenette and well air-conditioned room to relax in.

It would have been nice if there were some options for food prepared in the hotel, but this was mitigated by the proximity of numerous diners and restaurants all within a five minute walk.

Easily the best quality of fit and finish in any room I've every come across in Greece. Amazing care in the details. Everything worked and no lose electrical fittings or handles or locks as is often the case. Highest quality materials. Friendly reception desk Good quality daily cleaning. Good value. Good location Space in the room (maisonette)

We loved it!

The staff was really nice. The property is small and it has only a few rooms which means it was really quiet. The room with the private garden is nice to have for taking breakfast or dinner outside with family. We had cleaning services everyday, witch is really much appreciated. The hotel also smells amazing.

There aren't any activities at the property like a pool or sports. Another things we did not enjoy that much is the location itself and by that I mean the city. There were many hotels but most of them were closed, the beach looked like it was a really beautiful place and taken care of, many years ago. Now it looks like most of the people abandoned the city. Even if the hotel is really close to the beach and the city center it feels like in the middle of nowhere. The city didn't feel like a place for tourists. This is not the hotels fault of course but seems like an important thing to know when planning future trips.

Superb

Clean and quiet place, with a plenty of space to park your car.

It is not big of a deal, just a small note- we were on the first floor and a cat was visiting our balcony while we were having a dinner/breakfast there. If you are not a cat lover, you will find this a bit annoying :D

All the rest. All was new, washing was good, wallstand for showerhead, soft bed, nice porch, walking distance to beach. Quiet area, easy privat parking.

Wi-fi was "moody" and not good. Easy tasks was often fine (like reading news), but if higher bitrate was needed it often lagged, or totaly stopped.

Overall would highly recommend.

The building is within 5 mins walking distance from the local beach. The conditions are very good, with modern furniture and very clean rooms. The staff provide cleaning services every day, and the sheets and towels are changed every 2-3 days, which is a big plus from our side. Rooms on the ground floor are clearly better because you have a little more space with a garden outside. Rooms on the upper floor feel a bit more cramped because the balcony is small and you have no privacy from the room right next to you. Staff were always nice and polite. Overall would highly recommend.

Everything was perfect, clean, safe, cosy, lovely…. Owner was very engage to help me with car issue - he went with me several times to tire shop to help me to fix the problem with tire. We needed to go to next town. They respond fast and we get all advise and recommendations what to see and visit in and near Gerakini. Once again thank you very much for hospitality if we would decide to come again in Gerakini for sure we would stay in Gmare.

Great staff, they were particularly polite when the neighbours did too much noise. They even offered us a free room change so that we could sleep better, even if it was our last night. That was super responsible and professional. Very clean and great village. Also great for families, since there is a kitchenette in the rooms and spacious balconies.
