Anna Christina Apartments

Christina è stata gentilissima, disponibile e sempre molto attenta alle esigenze degli ospiti. La struttura è in una posizione strategica per visitare Sithonia e gli appartamenti sono spaziosi, confortevoli e dotati di tutto il necessario. Una menzione speciale va al meraviglioso giardino di rose, un dettaglio davvero unico che rende il soggiorno ancora più piacevole e suggestivo. Struttura assolutamente consigliata!

Come piccoli aspetti da migliorare, la luce automatica del bagno può risultare un po’ fastidiosa: il sensore non sempre rileva correttamente la presenza e ci si ritrova a dover fare qualche “balletto” per mantenerla accesa. Essendo il bagno privo di finestra, sarebbe inoltre utile avere una ventola di aspirazione più potente e possibilmente indipendente dalla luce, in modo da favorire una migliore eliminazione dell’umidità.

Christina is a great host and very warm and welcoming! The apartment was big enough for us (2 adults, 2 teens), air conditioning in both rooms and a great terrace where we had breakfast or played cards on the evening . The apartment had a fridge, all basic crockery, a kettle and a small hob (which we didn't need), as well as a big enough bathroom (though the automatic light took some getting used to!) The pool was a great - especially as it is mainly shady which made staying in the water, or laying on the sun loungers a great option during the midday heat. There's even a toilet by the pool and a changing area! Kids also loved all the tortoises roaming about! Although we saw many of our neighbours we never had any noise in the morning or evening which was a real plus. The apartment is only a short walk to the local beach, shops, tavernas and bars. Metamorfosi is a basic town, the beach is ok but not the best. We used the apartment as a base to explore Halkidiki, which was brilliant, as Metamorfosi is strategically well placed to drive to different places.

We liked everything. Just note the bathroom is a shower room which means the whole floor gets wet when showering. It dries fast though amd we had enough towels to mop up. Also, the bathroom light is triggered by movement - which means that you better keep moving whilst being in the shower or toilet, else the light switches off. Not a problem at all, just a quirk!

The pool

Exterior much better than interior. Toilette is very old, moldy. Whole apartment has bad lights, but lights outside are too strong. AC cannot be configured, only 25C is possible with the AC. Kitchen unusable with rusted cook and no oven. Large balcony upstairs, but kitchen is downstairs. Bad freezer in the kitchen. No hot water in the kitchen. The most important, for 10 days, they didn't change our bed sheets. They did that for our friends after 8 nights, only when we asked why they didn't change them. Wifi is unstable, but it is OK.
