Best possible experience for the price!

Asteris village is a family hotel with very friendly staff, mesmerizing view and a decent restaurant. We spent 11 days exploring Halkidiki from there and this hotel was the perfect choice. We could reach every point on Kassandra and Sithonia for less than an hour! Also the staff is so welcoming and will give advice on places to visit and things to do in Halkidiki. It was an unforgettable experience. P.S. Ask Nikos to play bouzouki or to give you a lesson in Greek.

Recommend place for families looking to relax near the beach.

Great place for a family to relax with the kids. Pool is great, kids had a lots of fun jumping in the water. On-site restaurant takes care of all your needs. Staff is very friendly. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend any families to stay here.

No microwave. No pan for oven. No entry door floor mats. Living room could be better furnished, it was a bit baren.

4 night stay in Gerakini Sithonia

First, the staff! Angela was fantastic and did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. She acted on everything we asked pretty much immediately. Also, the kitchen staff was very attentive and made sure during breakfast that everything gets a refill immediately. The Greek coffee was exceptionally good. Some days I ordered dinner, and they brought the food to my room. Second, the room was very specious (Executive Apartment with Sea View) and modern furniture (boutique hotel style). Wifi was pretty good, water pressure in shower very good. Specious balcony with good table and chairs (from metal). The resort looks very well maintained with a lot of olive trees and grass. It looks really good.

For the breakfast, there was no simple white or brown bread (they had some white bread, but it was sweet). Also, it could have a bit more vegetables. Furthermore, it seems that there is a bit of an issue with the sweet water in this region, not something the hotel can do anything about as this is really the municipality that is dealing with it but because the water is a bit salty it leaves a brown marks everywhere when they are cleaning (we thought the cutlery and some other areas in the apartment were not clean). Angela explained that the hotel was renovated in 2019 and because of this issue with the water and it is about to be renovated again soon. Nevertheless, the level of cleaning looked a bit like it was done “on the surface” and could be a bit better as we did find some hair and dirt on certain areas. Last note: the entrance to the hotel from the road can be a bit tricky as it is located exactly in a curve of a road that can have very busy traffic and depending from which side you are coming the access can be a bit challenging.

Amazing stay!

We liked everything! Asteris Village is gorgeous familiy run apart hotel. Rooms are great, clean, bed is comfy. Towels changed every day, rooms cleaned daily too. We even got free room upgrade, which was pleasant surprise for our first stay, because we will definitely go there again and recommend it to all our friends and family. There's also nice pool next to the restaurant, where they serve breakfasts and dinners. Parking next to your room - what you can wish more? Not to mention the stuff, which is very kind - we love all of you ❤️ You'll not regret staying there.

Beautiful hotel, lovely views and wonderful staff! You should stay here!

We received a free upgrade to a beautiful apartment overlooking the sea. The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. There was daily cleaning service, which was thorough and nicely done. The hotel staff were exceptional- friendly, kind and helpful. We really enjoyed getting to know them as it is a family run business. The pool was clean and well kept with lots of lounge chairs and tables to eat at. The restaurant served good food and drinks.

The only small thing would be to add more variety to the fresh fruit at breakfast.

Although I didnt use the pool , but it's condition was bad, dirt and underwater lamps were badly connected, you really could see the wires... The breakfast was average , not more than that.

Air conditioning was blowing straight towards the bed. All balconies are located in a way that you can easily look into your neighbours' apartment. Swimming pool was not clean enough.

The hotel has great service. We arrived at the hotel a day later because our flight was canceled. An overdue breakfast was waiting for us. The room had a brilliant view. The best choice for people who want a very cozy and comfortable stay in chalkidiki. The lady at the reception was very polite and kind. She offered us a better room with no extra charge. The room was very clean and the furniture were modern and they seem new. We enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant in the accommodation, the greek salad was fresh and yummy. I am sure they will enrich their menu till next time.The breakfast had many nice choices. I liked the fact they offered greek products.

Perfect place for a relaxing family vacation!

We have booked the stay last year and had to reschedule due to the pandemic. Even though the reservation was without an option for canceling or rescheduling the host was very nice to accept our request so in June 2021 we made it to Gerakini. The property was sparkling clean. The staff was very polite. The apartment had a well-equiped kitchen and a pretty vast balcony with a sea view. We had breakfast included which we really enjoyed. Especially the greek yogurt with fig jam. The common areas are very nicely decorated and it's a pleasure to walk around and relax.
