Been a regular traveller to Maspalomas for many years and only discovered this little gem of a hotel. Cannot fault it.

The room was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities that you need. It's in a great location for both the beach and the Yumbo and has a nice balcony to sit on. The staff are also super helpful and friendly, I had a problem with the electricity one day and they were in my room immediately sorting it out. A great place to stay.

The lorry's outside at 6 a.m collecting rubbish. However the hotel can't control this but be aware if you are near the road it could be annoying.

The apartment was light and airy. The room was a reasonable size for one or two people. There was enough food/cooking utensils, and an adequate electric cooking hob (2 hobs). The shower room/toilet was clean and well kept. Water was hot for the shower. The single bed was OK - it wasn't uncomfortable (there were two single beds in the room). There was ample storage space for clothing. The hotel was a 7 minute walk to the main beach area. Beside the side of the hotel is a set of steps taking you to the main road that leads to the beach. The steps are not suitable for those of limited mobility so a more circular route takes about 8 minutes longer (past the Yumbo Centre). The road directly the apartment entrance takes you to a very well stocked supermarket (about a 200 metre walk).

On arriving late at night, despite informing the owner that I would arrive between 10 p.m. & 11 p.m., there was no one to meet with keys to the apartment. I had to ring a local number before someone arrived 15 minutes later. I wasn't the only one to have to wait as 2 other (women) on the same (TUI) flight had the same experience. My room (401) was facing the road and nearly all the night it was bombarded with noise from traffic and revellers from local hotels and night clubs. The noise died down by about 3 a.m. but started up again just after 6 a.m. due to there being a local collection point opposite the apartment for refuse collection and glass bottle collection (this occurred 8 days out of the 11 I stayed there). The apartment was single glazed and had no air-conditioning so, closing windows made no difference whatsoever. Being 32 degrees outside meant that closing any widows would have prevented any cool air entering the apartment. The kitchen had no kettle (despite one being mentioned in the booking details). The fridge had no containers to make ice (so I bought 3 from the local supermarket). The bed had no protective covering for the mattress (not very hygienic). The TV was quite old and wouldn't accept my USB device (despite having a USB input). As it happened, I didn't need to use the TV so the facility wasn't crucial for me personally. The sofa (bed) was very uncomfortable for sitting/resting on.
