An authentic residence in Beaune.

The host has a well appointed kitchen, a very spacious apartment, and an authentic ambience for the area.

Not really a negative because most old apartments and buildings in Europe do not have lifts, but the place is not recommended for people with mobility problems and those who are unable to carry their bags up narrow staircases. PLease note also as the summer months are upon us, that there is no airconditioning in the apartment. We were ok with the windows open and the electric fan turned on.

Very nice for both short and long stay.

Very nice lay out, big living and one gigantic bedroom. Nice kitchen.

2nd bedroom beds were less comfortable and bathroom was a bit small due to the low roof.

A comfortable apartment conveniently close to all the local attractions in a spectacular location.

A well equipped clean and spacious apartment in an excellent location. Our host was responsive helpful and pleasant. The large king sized bed was very comfortable and the modern kitchen very good. we also very much appreciated the laundry room with washing machine and drier. it was an absolute privilege to stay in such a historic building.

If you are tall you will find the shower room ceiling somewhat limiting. But perhaps not unexpected to find this in such a very old house. If you need the toilet in the night you may find the stairs inconvenient, but the twin bedroom is on the same level as the bathroom. The towels were small and mismatched, looked like children’s beach towels (white is the expected norm), but they were perfectly clean.

Great appartment, great location, would recommend.

Very easy to pick up keys. Hosts have a restaurant below. If you come outside restaurant timings there's a lock box in which the keys can be stored. Appartment location is great. Close enough to centre but away from the noise etc. It's a spacious apartment with modern amenities. Kitchen is well equipped too. Have two lounge areas, one on top floor where the double bed is and another small bit near the kitchen. Utility room in case you want to do some washing. Clean..... You can tell when the towels smell clean and fresh!! Bakery across the road if you want fresh bread in the morning. The hosts have created and left a folder with useful tips about the city, appt etc. Would stay here again I think.

Just some extra information for parking.....you have to park on the street (metered parking) or in a car park nearby. We went off peak season and I think it could get quite busy in Summer etc. Also you have pay for parking just to note -it's not included. I think you can do day rates in the St Etienne underground car park and should inquire about these. Probably more economical.

A wonderful central apartment

The apt. is right up the stairs from. the restaurant and has one large room with integrated kitchen and a view of a little square with a bakery. Then there is a separate bedroom with 2 single beds, a bathroom and a separate toilet. Up another flight of stairs is a vast room with a double bed, TV and a group of chairs. The renovation was extremely well done with wooden beams still showing everywhere - making it cozy. Kitchen and bathroom are well equipped, lighting is perfect. And even though you find yourself in the middle of Beaune there is very little traffic. Communication was easy. We’ll certainly come back.

Echt een aanrader. Heel sfeervol ingericht. Echt mooi. Goede kwaliteit. Keuken met echt àlles aanwezig. Pal in t centrum.

Een 10 geven we bijna, maar dan moet alles kloppen. Badkamer is wel wat behelpen als je lang bent, airco zou fijn zijn, maar eigenlijk is dat piepen op hoog nivo. Het is gewoon een erg leuk appartement.
